with all the survivability and damage buffs every class seems to be getting i feel the new logi buffs are going to render the logi useless. i cant see any use for logis aside from an initial spam of the game as the stats promote this by being 1 sided as they are

when logis die off dont come on the forums moaning, a true logi will see how weak we are going to be compared to the massive buff to damage and tank every other class is getting.
sure the logi bonuses are great but we have to survive to actually use it all. anyone saying there is not going to be a problem here is talking out their a***. i have to stack 1k ehp just to survive and thats with 3 adv gear and a proto repair and standard weapon, no grenades. and what do we actually get from the new logi bonuses, a massive increase in suit costs. the other only works on 1 of out 3-4 equipment which has only a use for spamming

thats what logis have now become due to the buffs, spam suits. is that the game we really want or even the role we want logis to become, forget the odd assault logi only out for himself, the new spamlogi is going to f*** this game up. you think the little uplink spam we have now is bad, wait till we get these new suits, every assault logi if stuck with their logi suits(if we dont get a respec) is going to turn it into a spam suit and this in turn will get logis nerfed again. yet again the logibro will suffer while everyone else benefits

all it will take on domi is 1 amarr logi to get into the prime position and "bam" masses of uplinks, first guy to spawn in is a cal logi spamming masses of triage hives, the next is a cal logi dropping off masses of ammo hives, the next is a gal logi perma scanning meaning nothing can get in, then a few mini logis arive.
now we have a heavily fortified position no one can break

Exactly why the suggested skills are a bad idea. All you will see is uplink, hive, scanner spam. . WTH are you talking about?
This is exactly what we have NOW you just forgot the tanks.
The only difference will be you can be a Very good killer with assault/scouts/Heavies/Commandos or be a FORCE multiplier as a logi.
but im a logibro, im here to repair and supply people. i dont want to be forced into spamming just to compete because thats the only effective way to use my suit

GEt or either Min Logi or Cal logi then. The only ones actually going to spam are the Amarr logis. , Probably designed to drop uplink EVERY TIME they respawn and then use their 2 weapons as an Assault unit. (say 2 Uplinks and 1 nanohive in their 3 EQ slots)...
Im going to be honest, i do think the Logis will be fine, SPECIALLY the TRUE LOGI BROS.
Dont worry, with the new bonuses all the filth (me included) that abused Logi suits will leave.
Logis will be scarce...AND far more valuable.
I know if i see a Logi after 1.8 im COVERING his ass (im a scout so from the shadows XD)....Probably as important has having a letter in Skirmish...
you, a non logibro think its going to be fine, but me an actual full time logibro dont think its going to be fine. who's opinion actually matters here. the guy who abused logis getting them changed in the first place or the ones who have to put up with the changes while you just move on to better gear

looks like we will be better off logibroing from a commando suit or assault suit.
spam the area with the logi suit then switch to a commando or assault with a rep tool just to be able to compete and survive long enougth

i will just have to wait and see how bad it is, hopefully we get a respec, that way i can spec into 1 of my logi suits and leave the other 2 on the back burner until i work out if they are any good

Why would it be? Your repairing, resurrecting, resupplying is not being nerfed, its just that some others are getting a buff. You can still use equipment just as well as you can now. You'll just be BETTER at using one type of equipment than you are now.
your right, losing a 1/4 of my ehp or giving up on arm repair is well worth it for a bonus to a single piece of equipment i may or may not use and is only of use if people actually need it which with all the ehp and damage buffs to everyone, situations to drop gear is going to be far less.
also they put uplinks on the slowest logi suit and repair tool on weakest? what sort of choice is that. i know its a racial thing but there has got to be better options so as to make the most of the bonuses otherwise what's the point.

With the 25% bonus to PG-CPU usage on equipment Logis will be able to not only equip better equipment and have increased effectiveness with them, But will have come CPU-PG to spare and equip better modules too.
I've been noticing ADAM's constant QQ and i've come to imagine yo used logis as a better Assault, contrary of what you are trying to make us believe....
anyone who knows me knows i do not assault logi.
by my calculations on my current logi fits i will save at best 8pg.wit that 8pg i could replace a enhanced arm plate for a complex arm rep costing me 5 of that pg getting me my 5reps back but costing me about 150 ehp (or whatever the maxed out amount is). that leaves me with 3 pg, that will get me grenades or maybe even upgrade a single piece of equipment.
when you look deeper into this you will see we actually get next to nothing from the bonus. the bonus barely gets us back the reps we lost and costs us ehp
