A while back I asked a similar question, asking what made someone a tanker.
But upon fishing through my favorites, I had a similar question.
So I want to know:

I would assume it's someone who Enjoys the Role of Killing vehicles
Not someone who specked into AV because it was a role they felt they HAD to have to counter vehicles

I played with somebody named Melissa Lewis and he claimed to be the best AVr. He solo multiple tanks in battles so of you can do that i imagine that'll make you an AVer. |

Someone who avidly adapts to the environment and hunts down the vehicle. Tower forge camping doesn't make you an AV'er shooting swarms till the HAV runs away then not pursuing does not make you an AV'er, Hitting a tank with hardeners down laying a proxy/remote trap hunting the HAV down in an LAV makes you an AV'er.

I ran forge gun for 11months, so I guess tanking in 1.7 makes me an AVer. Any infantry role is less effective. The only way to kill tanks is strap on some damage mods and get to work. You could wait till they decimate your team(window of opportunity), but a true AV specialist is not going to stomach that. I hate a fucken tanker on the field so if I have to drop a tank to kill him so be it. |

Does an avid hate for all tanks blaster qualify me? I have no AV weaponry per say, but my jihadist scout and VEID jeep are quite commonplace once a blaster tank kills me 2 or 3 times. Or they have more then 3 tanks on the field.

Recognition of the impact vehicles, any vehicle, can have if allowed to move freely and impose will on the field, while being in possession of the tools to effectively address said impact.
AV is 1/3 Situational Awareness 1/3 Weaponry and 1/3 Strategy or Tactical Execution.

sooo you havnt figured out how to aim swarms yet? they travel a short while before the AI takes over and redirects them making it so you can shoot around corners or adjust their angle of attack to give them the angle nessesary to go over hills. |

I've been using Swarms for over half a year now. I know what I'm doing.
A firing a Swarm near terrain is like relying on RDVs.
Sometimes the swarms are beasts and track a vehicle no matter how many times it turns; and other times it throws itself straight into a wall or crashes into the ground.
And don't even get me started about that old glitch where your Swarms would fly in circles. That was f*cking annoying.
Aiming your SL all the way up sometimes breaks your lock. No AI can function no matter how terrible if you can't even lock.

You are wrong. The redirection is stupid. It doesnt go around corners 9 out of 10. Its best to point towards the sky like you are trying to aim at a DS before releasing the swams
