We cannot always assume this is a racial fitting when many times before we have been shown trailers or art showcasing new content, rather than aligning with racially sound drop suit load outs. I agree it is thinner, only that there seems to be a lot of detail on the suit which contradicts the caldari aesthetic. There was one piece of art that I use as my laptop background that shows what look like Amarrian light frames, i'll see if I can link it. "Face the enemy as a solid wall. That suit is also clearly encased in armor with no armor plates like you'd see on the Caldari suits with the Fabric & Plate combo. Because of this I'd probably say the new Gallente Basic suit or Logistics suit. It looks to clean cut to be Minmatar and it's not buffed up enough to look Amarr, but then again it may be a scout but I'm betting on a replacement for our placeholder Basic Gallente suit. With the new patch focusing mostly on infantry and racial parity they might finally make the suits in the same class different from each other (example: Scout and Basic Light no longer look the same as well as Basic, Assault & Logistics)

I do agree with that....though I do feel its design is not really in keeping with the normal caldari designs which makes it somewhat of an oddity. "Face the enemy as a solid wall. It's not the Caldari blueish grey either but a pale greenish color. Looks like a medium suit rather than a scout. It's probably not the caldari scout, or any suit at all, just an asset that make it into the game.

Head looks like a combination of Caldari and Amarr Light Frames. Legs look like a blend of Amarr and Gallente Light Frames. It can't be Gallente, but that leaves it equal parts Caldari and Amarr. Pretty sure it was a concept model, not a final one. And the weapon looks more Minmatar than anything to me. I hope there's a Minmatar Shotgun coming at some point in the future.
