Amarr Assault went for meh to crap with that change...
Gallente Assault is far supreme having a huge pool of HP, no actual backdraw by using damage mods.
Let's face it people don't even bother with armor repair modules, repair nanohives win any day.

There was no other reason besides religious devotion to run the Amarr Suit without the laser bonus. It is a gimped suit now.

Isn't it the same thing as running anything but Gal Logi now? You best be lore dedicated because you definitely aren't the most effective.
Why skill anything except rifles? Nothing is as effective as they are. All other weapons pale in comparison.
Look the bonus is different but we haven't even tested it out yet. Before we actually played with the current bonus nobody went OMG LASER BONUS YAA!!! TOTALLY AWESOME!!! No, we pissed and whined about it. Now we're pissing and whining about it leaving.

I use the ScR @ prof5 3 dmg mods w/out the Ak.0, Idk bout with the suit, but even without it, its the best gun in the game.
Amarr assault still gets the buttload of pg/cpu, but the new bonuses will be useless for the amarr themed combos nonetheless.
But hey, most suits have had useless bonuses throughout dust. No suprise here.

Well it's a good balance tbh. I use (AK0 + SCR = Broken) this will bring some balance to it. Besides, how would you overheat anyways? Takes 2-3 shots (without charge) to kill any medium and light suit 4-5 for proto sentinel  |

Well I personally think the heat build up perk was a poor design choice, it penalised you for not using a scrambler or laser.
That said I don't think their proposed bonus is any better.
Amarr Racial Bonus: +3% Armour Plate Efficacy +3% Shield Extender Efficacy per Level

I... don't know how you're hitting for 200 per shot. I hit for 107, and PRO Sentinel is a right pain in the arse. Usually spam the trigger in the general direction of his head, then switch to SMG and spray.
