I disagree. A minor 5-10% bonus on this or that per level, is the sort of thing that changes with EVE frequently, and EVE doesn't get a respec every time their ship got re-tiered. If so, we'd have gotten five respecs in the last two years. These sorts of changes will ALWAYS happen in an MMO, because balance and redesign will ALWAYS happen.

The Minmatar Logistics suit, and Amarr Heavy suit are both still functional suits, that have been adjusted due to new content. This happens often, and will continue to happen in perpetuity, even after you consider the game "complete". Note the massive ship rebalancing project EVE is undertaking, that offers no respecs. People can continue to use the suits they have skills for, and invest new skill points in new suits if they're so inclined to branch out.

Respec is one of the things powering Fit Of The Month behavior, it's time to kill it.

No, like other racials that have bonuses to particular kinds of weapons like the laser category so to should the logistics bonuses work that way. I would prefer to have an equipment skill tree, similar to the weapons' branches that offer various bonuses and improvements, that would address each item. The bonuses for the logistics should be more of either a prominent trait for the race in defense or general equipment efficiency in the equipment authored by that race. Right now Amarr has only drop uplinks - and i do truly hate them. But the min bonus to repair tool.... I may have to forsake my race for that. Empress forgive me. But I still don't like it. Thus, not everyhting in dust has to be the same as it is in EVE onlin. That is established. In the EVE MMO community a respec is unheard of, in the console gaming and shooter world it is enough of a standard that CCP not doing it consistently causes an uprising (terrible joke) in communications for them. In this world (Dust, shooters, etc.) they are expected. In its incomplete form, it is expected.... why the hell am I arguing about this? 26 posts a day on the same subject and you need me to explain this to you? On the bright side for you though, CCP Shanghai has no backbone, and is worried about losing players so much, that anything cried for enough will be given.
