It looks really foolish when you run Aurum gear and Proto gear when you don't know how to use it. Just stop. The suit might look impressive but at the end of the day, the scores are all that matter, and a low score in a high suit is a lot worse than a low score in a low suit. I see people do.this all the time- whole squads do this!
I'm not going to patronize people- scratch that, I will. Look, you may not be good at the game but practice is going to be the only way to get better. Also, don't fall victim to peer pressure from squad mates. You don't need to run proto and Aurum items all the time. It is ridiculous. Learn how to use standard and militia versions of your fits effectively before even thinking about using proto gear.

I'm not referring to veteran players using weapons and suits that they know how to use. I'm talking about the novices that think they can substitute their lack of skill with Aurum and ISK.

maybe arum is used to see if they want to skill (spend SP) and try out the equipment......
and please stop the proto rubbish. Whats the point in getting isk if people dont use it - its an RPG after all. |

I use them to save ISK.
My girl pays for my aurrum gear.
Keeps me home & out of the bars she says.

It's better if bad players use proto suits. It's more satisfying when you kill them due to bragging rights and higher ISK payouts at the end of the day.
Seeing a protobear running Duvolles and dying 20 times by the end of the match always brings a smile to my face :) |
