Advanced Caldari Medium Frame - Complex Damage Mods x2 - Standard Myofibril Stimulant - Basic Cardiac Regulator - Militia Kinetic Catalyzer - Advanced Assault SMG - Standard Breach Scrambler Pistol - Sleek Locus Grenades - Standard Nanohive Now on paper it looks good, but in practice it is not that good outside of Sniper, Heavy, Logi and LAV removal. I want more of a fast hit & run type of fit, but I really ended up with more of a brawler frontlines type of guy. I'm looking to make the type of suit you use to take a lightly defended null cannon quickly, and before anyone really knows what's going on. Any tips? My alts: GeneralJohnRipper, Draxus Prime, MoonEagle A, Long Evity And this is why I am the #1 forum warrior.

Aztec, I use a scout suit for more hit-n-run tactics (although a light suit would probably work as well). My initial suit for most domination/skirmish games has 2 cardiac regulators (which allows me to run without stopping to closer hackable targets). Anything over about 250M though, and your better off with a lav. Also, run with either nova knives or drop uplinks in your hands (you tend to run faster with these I have noticed). I hope this helps a bit.

Never tried it for AV. Something I forgot to mention, I suggested it because I start every match with a 'fossil' minmatar BPO. I think you have to buy it as a skinweave or something now if you didn't get one before. 2 equipment slots and no sidearm. Try it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Though, the proto Minmatar Assault leaves a lot to be desired. The only reason I got it to proto was to have more ammo in my SMG, more high slots for damage mods and a built in repper. That was all done for a Swarm Launcher fit that rarely saw infantry combat. Seeing as how the Swarm Launcher is a rather useless weapon now, I am looking to fulfill an infantry based role and the Minmatar suit is just far too weak for that. Particularly the basic -- I'd go assault or logi if you're set on Caldari. Also, the Caldari lend themselves to ranged combat much more than hit and run hacking. If you want a suit that gets in and out of conflict quickly and goes for the quick hack -- try Minmatar.

No. It's black. FWIW, the suit above is very close to the one I use as well, but I put complex shields on it as I have the extra cpu/pg to fit them.

Look to boost stamina duration as this helps you run farther and then don't jump, fall, run up hills to prevent loosing extra stamina. Learn to stop your sprint by aiming down the sights when turning to sharpen your corners as well. This helps you save a bit of stamina here and there that can make the difference. Also, if looking to hack, Minmitar logi still gets a bonus, plus a hacker can make for a rapid turnover suit. Decide what elements of fighting you want, stick to them and don't add a little of this, little of that or you'll waste CPU/PG/and ISK.

It's very fast and effective. If I lose shields I go around a corner for a sec till the recharge and they recharge fast then back in action. If you accept your limitations you go beyond them

You could ditch a dampener, move faster, run longer (higher stamina), have a base passive scan of 16m and it is buffed as you level up scout. The extra passive range and not showing up in theirs really helps in getting in close. Level 1 scout will have a maximum of 42.75db Profile before Dampeners or profile dampening. Which is equivalent of a medium with a basic dampener. Also a scout suit costs $3k for the entry variant. Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.
