Congratulations fellow Caldari, it is hard mode, then you got griefers taggin poor blue team mates keeping them from participating in battle, so thats 2 out of your team. Then you got the newberries, who don't have a feel for the game or SP spent to help with their gun game. If the griefers get a vet, hes quitting game, another player down. Winning a caldari factional is a feat of commendable persistence, since you have to fight one obvious enemy, and one hidden.
Unchecked dishonesty can promote the perception that one must cheat to remain competitive.

yes the Caldari are having it rough but at the same time, I've seen some games where our squads decimate the competition. No one is talking about that though.
This is why I feel that the decent players really need to start pooling strength together if they are serious. The more we pool our strength together, the bigger the impact. Caldari loyalists seem to be "too loose" in a sense.
The strength of the rope is dependent on the individual pieces that tie in together to make it strong.

It's gotten better I believe as the scrub blues are realizing they can't win and are not playing maybe? I dunno but a couple nights ago I went like 2-10 then the last few days I've only lost a handful. I'm close to level four now, been breaking it up between Minnie and Cal. |

I don't know why all the idiots flock to the Caldari, but they do. Although I did have a stretch where I won three in a row on the Caldari side. I thought it was a miracle. |

It caught me off guard as well I assumed they were there to TK or grief but they played well, was only 2-3 of them but I caught the corp tag in the warbarge and nearly backed out thinking I had clicked Cadari by mistake.

STB has a great system for all FW, every FW ive been apart of wether is Winmatar or suckdari ive won. So fill your squads out guys, and if all else fails Qsync the fudge out of it. |

Im really hoping the FW gets the 4th empire problem that used to plauge planetside (orrnigal) where all the bads join the winning side and thus start to loseing making them all mover to the next winner etc.
Then again due to failed thinking though of the LP store i doubt anything is going to change for a while

I try to go with a full squad at least. The problem isn't the opponent in Caldari FW. It's the Genius Blue berries who keep spraying you from the back or walks straight into your line of Fire. |

Tbh in dust this behavior should be encourage by offering LP or standing bonuses for fighting for the losing side if not outright isk payments if planetside was anything to go by after a few heavy swings it should settle down a lot more evenly and the whole mechanic is very fitting with merc mindset of dust

In order for the bads to flock to the easy side they first have to realize that they can change the settings for the faction contracts in the battle finder. Few notice that you can, and since more players are aligning with Gallente and Minmatar then the terribles get dropped into Caldari and Amarr because they have all the faction options checked of when they press the button.
They should make it so that your default selection when you first play the game is no factions, forcing you to actively pick a side to fight for. |

I think we'll get this type of effect once the player market is available. There will be relatively few players with a stockpile of, for example, the specialist weapons that the Amarr and Caldari loyalty stores offer. This should help drive their prices up. Once players that aren't hardcore loyalists see that, I think they'll flock to the side that offers the highest priced gear. |

That's just a known bug with the barge, where it swaps the team lists. You're still on the side you picked if you look on the team screen in-match, it's just a display error. |

It's not easy that's for sure. So far i only had one, may be 2 battles against random blue berries. The rest were all orgnaized squads. They Even brought Orbitals too. It's challenging so it's fun. It's like ringing in a PC with less chance of Lag or framerate issues |

It does make a difference EvE side. When one side or the other in Dust has planetary dominance, it makes it 25% easier for EvE FW pilots on the same side to take over a contested system. It also makes it 25% harder for the opposing side to take over one of your side's systems. It's just not displayed all that well in Dust. It would be nice if they made a sort of mini-map that shows the battlefield and the bit of progress you've made on the battle summary screen at the end instead of just a little bar and a number.
Also, Amarr and Caldari FW is doing so bad in Dust because they're getting ROFLStomped in EvE at the moment (last I heard anyway), not because of the Mercs Dust side are doing anything wrong. It's the nature of the beast and it'll flip around every few months.
Another thing to consider is going to be the markets when they come out. All those Gallente/Minmatar LP items flooding the markets will depress prices on those items compared to the less plentiful Amarr/Caldari items. Once the difference gets big enough, there will be a strong incentive to switch sides (or to characters on those sides) to farm, and that'll have effects not only in the market, but in Dust, and EvE itself. Those will be awesome days =) |
