Why is that so hard to understand? You get aurum grade stuff for cheap. This has allowed me to try out new stuff before I skill into it. Its not ment to keep you indefinatly stocked with full proto gear all the time, which undoubtedly is what many of you want so you can continue to proto pub stomp. Stop thinking that you are all so entitled to every thing. Some times you have to work for what you want. I've also noticed that its bittervets that are doing all the howling..... Get over your selves this game would be better with out you any ways. |

^ This, as an EvE pilot I can tell you you can make near 100% of your fits with something gained from the LP store, and even get ships that are even more powerful then other hulls.

i primarily played FW to avoid constant pub/protostomps, for isk. FW should be sustainable as stated above several times if its sustainable ineve, it should be here too, just because you may be rolling in isk and SP, doesnt mean everyone is

what do I care ? I have billions. I want it to be sustainable because I am speaking for everyone else who do not have the privilege of doing 10 pc battles in 6 hours like I did today. One of the main reasons people can afford to proto pub stomp is those active in pc with alot of districts.
I earned my right to waste as much isk as I want but stomping noobs gets boring so why not give others a chance to find another way to earn proto gear?

Yeah, except your only making about 450 LP per match though..... Think about that, one ambush would probably pay for your suit. One FW probably doesn't cover all of those LP and I know for a fact that it still doesn't cover the isk. If you die once in that suit, your'll be lucky to break even. If you die twice you'll be majorly in the hole.

Everything in EVE online is run on a "is it profitable?" basis. If you cant make isk off it, then its not worth it. Right now there is ZERO way to make any amount of isk off FW, and so the only reason to play it is to get some of the specialty items (which are very limited right now). Now some might argue "but you save isk by using FW gear!" yeah...... that would be true if the LP payouts were larger. Theres at least three different posts in general discussion now going over the math and proving that even at level 10 standings, the most anyone would be doing is breaking even (if you were to compare it to isk), so really....... there is almost zero point in doing FW.
The only reason I continue to do it now is to fit one specific suit im using for PC matches and to level up so that when CCP does fix the game mode ill already be pretty far up. But I mean..... im kind of tired of looking forward to the future but never enjoying the present

Well dust can also do this just run away from every fight like EVE plexers, warp stabs and cloaks.

The only way to actually go positive in FW is to run cheap fits if not straight BPO, which is ass backwards for the middle ground mode between easy mode pubs and hard mode (PC).
The low sp player base should not be what populates FW to get gear at lower sp costs

You do realize that this isn't EvE, right? There are so many things missing from Dust that EvE has to make FW a sustainable thing, and why should Dust operate remotely similar to EvE? They're completely different games. Not to mention that the things that make FW sustainable in EvE don't come from FW, they come from logistical support like manufacturing complexes and mining and other methods to generate the materials of war, something that we simply do not have in Dust. Quit fooling yourselves.

Except ISK is meaningless in DUST. I am given it and then I give it away and if ever a time should arise that I have 0 ISK in DUST, I will just use the plethora of BPOs that I have in top box matches and become rich again. 4 ambush matches is a million ISK. I do that in 30 minutes. If I really wanted to I could get a billion ISK a month just doing pub matches. So I don't. It is possible though. |

Seeing how it's easy to get kicked and lose standing...we need way more LP for level 10.
Personally, I would like 1,000 LP as a cap for each battle at level 10. I believe that's enough for a fit with a majority of tier 3 LP stuff with two different faction's gear.

Dust is EvE, EvE is Dust, they are not separate, they are one in the same.
Both Dust and EvE are of New Eden not separate worlds.
The things you describe will come in time, but they will be coming non the less.

You must not play EVE, because as a Cal Mil member in EVE you can make billions in a stealth bomber by just killing NPCs. Going to Nourv and cashing in your LP and then taking your haul 3 jumps away to Jita. I made lots of money just selling faction torpedoes in Nourv alone. Never mind he LP items I sold in Jita. There is no mining in FW, we kill those that try to mine. |

Not mining mining, I mean in general buying resources and all the rest of it. Your ships aren't free, especially not bombers.
