Your team was dominating, so why did you feel the need to continue spawning in? Especially with a proto suit?
Just trying to figure out why, after the first four or five deaths, you thought the next time would be "better"... |

So you kept spawning back in because you needed to defend the point and kept dying. Job well done, I guess? You still won.
I wouldn't come to the forums and complain about it though. You chose to keep spawning in, and if you died, you died. *shrug*

But you're complaining about Orbital Artillery (which is the socket with the H-building and the triple rings, right)? So all the snipers were in high points accessible only by ladders/dropships? Why couldn't you take your own dropship up and spook them? |

So the match was won and you kept getting killed because you had to stay by the points and all the snipers were killing you.
I don't buy that "there was nowhere to hide". Even if all rooftops are covered, there are places to hide in that socket. For one, you could hide in the Charlie hack terminal area. Or you could hide in the stairs area on the supply depot side of Alpha.
I also don't buy that a forge, or even multiple forgers, could cover dropship access to every roof. You might not be able to hover for very long, but if you approach the socket from the outside, you could at least get access to the ladder areas. Or just climb the ladders.
If you don't want to take the time to pry them out of their high spots, you shouldn't be complaining when they kill you from those high spots. |

Which begs the question - at what point do you have enough ISK to feel like running proto all the time, no matter how many deaths you get?
I have a pretty good chunk of ISK but I'm still reluctant to go proto more than 20-30% of the time... |

Next time just hide in a spot where they can't get LOS on you but you still have LOS on the hack terminal. So if someone goes to hack, you can kill them, but their snipers can't get you. |
