By purpose I mean damage wp. For every 2000 damage dealt to a vehicle, award 25 wp to the infantry (or something like that). That way, infantry will actually be rewarded for pushing a tank back, not only for destroying it.
This would go a long way to fix av. And actually give AVers a sence of accomplishment. Reward people for actually scarring tanks away, instead of just destroying them. This would also be making av a viable and actual role on the battlefield and not just a thing between between slaying just to kill a pesky tank.
Just like a logi is rewarded for repping make swarmers rewarded for swarming. As for the ******* people that will find a way to exploit it, LET THEM BE. It's not like they're accomplishing much anyways. Don't penalize an entire community for something only a handfull are doing.
Ps: make it so only AV infantey gets damage WP. Tanks getting wp for that would be really abusive.

I wouldn't mind, but as long as the WP can only be generated by weapons classified as AV.
Weapons Such As:
- Swarm Launchers
- Forge Guns
- Plasma Cannons
- Remote Explosives
- Proximity Explosives
- AV Grenades
- Flux Grenades (If you question this then I will simply ask "Bro, do you even Anti-Gunnlogi?")
It would also be "abusive" if WP damage was awarded by Warbarge Strikes, and explosive weapons such as Mass Drivers.
And if your rewarding points at 2000HP of damage, then increase the WP gain to +75. And make it 2000HP of RAW DAMAGE. (Meaning that the use of hardners would not delay the WP gain. As I can easily see people running around with 2-3 hardners to prevent infantry from gaining WP.)
Along with that, reduce the team quota for vehicles.

Side thought : Medium or Light AV suit... 2 grenade slots.. 1 equip slot.. bonuses to AV weapons.. no sidearm. |

As for damage yea, I also meant 2k EHP damage.
Seriously, this would pretty much solve the AV/V problem. AV wouldn't need to destroy the tank only to get lol150wp. They would actually be rewarded for actively pushing the tank back. With the extra bonus WP for destroying it.

I want tanks to be fun, but I want AV to be fun too. if tanks are too hard to kill: fun for tanks, **** for AV if tanks are too easy to kill: **** for tanks, fun for AV if av gets wp for damaging vehicles: fun for tanks AND fun for AV
It's a win-win situation

And in less than 48hrs we've managed to get something implemented without arguing and being little kids, yet in 6 months of arguing and being little COD b!tches we accomplished nothing.

This is more than needed it is absolutely critical for the sake of the AV role . Right now it is to the detriment economically to pull out AV.
No job is worth doing if you don't get paid in the end .

I find that high alpha damage will kill you when using that, meaning that you have to be waaaay more carefull

It still packs quite a punch when used vs shield tanks, only problem is that it travels sooooooooooo slowly and arches while doing so

Tanks getting wp for that would be really abusive. hm maybe every 1000 EFFECTIVE damage earns 15 wp to a max of says something like 300-400 wp every 2minutes i know ccp is thinking about reapplying this since they can use the same system as rep tools and hives that effects logis. that would amount to 20-27 times wp earned every 2minutes this should not apply to HAVs doing damage to other vehicles but DS and LAVs should get counted in.

Got to say i like this it would at the very least reward Av guys lets face it its a fairly unrewarding role only thing id like to add would be tanks still need either speed nerfed or slower acceleration added so that they cant instantly get away or at least give us ways to disable them perhaps tanks get immobilised for 20s after 2 or 3 volleys so they cant get away and are forced to either deal with AV or tank it granted this is a very biased to AV guys but at the least a speed nerf is required if acceleration is not viable.
This is not complaining about tanks this is simply stating how to fix them ive been messing around with mlt tanks for a while and they tank well and its fun to be able to support infantry but it feels way too mobile for what it is. |

Actually, I could dominate with a Plasma Cannon. Skill-shot weapon, just like the Flaylock pistol. If you can hit them accurately, it instakills even the best heavies.

This is a good idea.
WP, for damage. I saw mentioned in a post, a Dev saying they really wanted to implement this, since they now have a limiter on WP.
They are certainly considering it.
