I know that feel bro. As I've written elsewhere...I love the Minmatar race, lore, gear, weapons, battle mantra so much I put my 32 mil SP on the back burner to start againon COVERT. I'm also Caldari as I didn't give a **** about my race when I made GREY the day D514 went to TQ. Now over a year later I'm besotted with the Matari and would love so much to have that 32 mill on a Minmatar race.
There has actually been a lot of support and desire for a one of race change. With increased knowledge on lore, familiarity with a wider range of racial weapons, increased New Eden verisimilitude with the increased presense of racial tech affinity in the upcoming suits/roles etc...a lot of people have found their place and are regretting the choice they made a year ago.
What sucks the most is that I'll have and use GREY for as long as DUST is online, I'll invest hundred of euros in boosters over its lifespan and will be my persistent avatar...but will be forever marred by not being Matari and no I can't do any kinda ******* BS role play like "ohhh you're a caldari who fell in love with the tribal way" or some BS..I wanna be Matari and I want Matari av and everything.
Seriously, we should push for this. Anyone who like you and I are "Matari at heart" should be given a short window at 1.8 to send a ticket for a race change. It will affect nothing else other than MANY people's satisfaction with their Gé¼Gé¼Gé¼ sink of an avatar and augment the competitive pride when engaged in things like FW. This is another cause we should fight for together on.
