Im doing real life stuff and will be for a few more hours so I have yet to play it
But I view the fourms seeing a bunch of negativity about the addition o FF
Now I already hated (Bedore it was cool) the idea of FF in pub anything
But how bad is it?

Relatively nonexistent deliberate greifing (Because surprise surprise it takes a lot of work to actually go through with making a billion different accounts and logging out and into each of them, who wants to spend an hour greifing 6 times?).
As for accidental, not that big of a problem, just watch your grenades... Also don't be an overly-enthusiastic "helper" in close-quarter-battles...

I've accidentally popped a few of my comrades, but they understood that they stepped in my line of fire and I was forgiven. (I still felt bad though.)
I have been TK'd only once and I mentioned it elsewhere.
I'm done playing for the day, but all this "NAAAAEH! I'M GOING TO TK EVERYBODY!" is just hot air, as was expected.

Yeah i have yet to be TK'd on purpose outside of my friends trolling me. Although i did help troll this one heavy by having my friend kill him and I'd just revive him again. But that was only once and actually its pretty fun to shoot one bullet at a friend just to have him freak out lol. Don't understand why people said it would be a bad thing oh well more loyalty points for me lol. |

I accidentally TK'd a poor scout who tried to shotgun someone I was shooting at.
Felt very bad afterwards, sent apology letter + ISK.
Shortly afterwards I was TK'd by a plasma cannon.

Only problem I noticed so far is with using orbitals. That **** will get you kicked. I guess grenades could be problematic too. But besides that all people were careful enough. |

I only got in one FW match last night after the servers came up, but I was surprised.
Not a single person on either side of the match was kicked due to TK.
I think this is mostly due to the *cough*harsh*cough* penalties. For level 1 players 1 TK and you are out until next downtime so...

I didn't see any FF griefing in any of the 7 or 8 FW battles I played today.
I think I accidentally'd one blue with a lobbed grenade (sorry, whoever you were), and I saw a lot of incidents of accidental FF damage. The highlight was getting revived in the middle of a firefight between 2 reds and 2 blues (at least 2 of them HMG heavies); I didn't survive long, but I think it was the reds that killed me.
Oh, and the old "switching to gun rather than repair tool after reviving someone" mistake really matters now

i accidentally TK'd a guy who walked in front of my AR after being lit up by a red dot (which i killed for him) and he was revived by a logi. i would have done it, but the logi beat me to it. don't know if he forgave me or not. i didn't get kicked for it.
got my shields tickled by a blue a couple of times, but overall, people seem to be treating this real tender like. as am i. despite TKing that one guy. you just can't spray and pray anymore. i tend to ADS even when strafing though. gets me more headshot kills.
the only time i intend on "punishing" anyone for TKing me is if it seemed intentional. if i'm hacking and get TK'd, or shot with no reds around. if i'm in a firefight, and rounds are being sprayed everywhere and i get caught by a friendly... it happens. no hard feelings. FF happens in real combat all the time. at least in here, no one really gets hurt.
i might even get the person's name and send them ISK for the suit i cost them. no need to **** people off over an accident. treat people good (even if you TK'd them), and it will be remembered.
btw... what kind of suits are people running in FW now?? i seem to be able to drop reds with the flick of my gek's trigger. even heavies.
i know we don't get isk for FW anymore, but i figured people have saved enough to run at least advanced gear. i have about 14M isk i'm willing to sacrifice to FW which would let me lose 378 advanced fits before i even think of running pubs for isk.
also, if you've checked out the prices at the loyalty store, stuff is cheap! after i get enough LP, i can make the same fit for like 10K isk... + LP... or less... lol. my proto fit is going to be a monster with the decrease in cpu and pg for the LP deuvalle (same punch with gek cpu/pg requirements) and other complex gear. i'll be able to run way more complex and proto mods.... at a fraction of the price. |

Considering that it's just a really bad idea in general, I'd say it's really bad.

I only got in a couple matches and it wasn't bad at all I took a little accidental fire and accidently hit a blue dot a couple times but otherwise the couple battles I had were fun.
Now CCP give us an open market so we can base our loyalty on who we want to fight for and trade for gear we want.
If you haven't checked out LP store its mostly Aur gear without having to buy Aur, in other words most of it is gear you can use at a lower skill tier. The proto weapons that have adv. weapon CPU/PG fittings OMG! I'm fighting for minmatar on my alt just for that Republic Combat Rifle |

Trolls everywhere. They try and kill you to steal your hack. LAV mindlessly drive around and pay no attention to were they are going as some HAV drivers. Blues shoot you in the back to weaken you so your easier to to be killed by a red. Its absolute bonkers from my point of view. Others say its fine. Maybe I am being paid back for all the times I killed them in the past

Didn't cause any damage to any friendlies or any vehicles. Just RE's blowing up RE's = 24hrs no FW. |

Remote Explosives = TK party time.
They're tricky to use now since mining control points is now hazardous to EVERYONE. Anyone can shoot an RE and it'll explode killing anyone near it, regardless of who put it down or what side the involved parties are.
RE's hate life, ALL life.
Also a little tricky for tanks doing close in support. People tend to go after the retreating target I'm shooting at and step into the line of fire. Good thing Large Blasters aren't that strong. |

It really isn't as bad as people said it would be. Played 8-10 FW matches and I only saw 4 or so teamkills. One of those being mine, squadmate walked right into the grenade I had just tossed.

When your's exploded, it blew up the other REs, thus creating a chain reaction of REs exploding, and each one does 1500 damage, therefore if 4 had exploded, you would be kicked for doing 5000 damage.

Not so. As soon as my alts are out of the academy and my beer is home from the store IT'S ON!
Good news is that I don't play regularly and I only switch to alts when I'm bored and want to switch things up.

FF sucks. period.
at least, the part that bans you for doing a terrible calculation of 'total damage' done, without actually killing any friendlies.

I can't claim much on repeated sessions as I only joined one on accident. Given that I did join on accident, I didn't even notice the whole game. I only found out at the end when the screens were different from usual pub matches. One of my teammates however did get an accidental TK. I think it still lies on the side of too harsh. Some people are getting TK'd for things out of their control, like the RDV dropping the jeep on a teammate. As a logi, I don't think I'd trip on this as much due to mostly healing, scanning, etc.
that being said, if I knew it was FW, I would NEVER have used so many flux grenades. Be careful...

Had an "Accident" earlier with shotgun to the back of a recognized pub player whom was in fw wearing that same ol proto gear him and his thale sitting as far back on the redline as possibe seen him doing this alot in pubs..had a miss fire he got hurt i logged out quickly dew to my deep mood of morn for my fallen team mate  |

Got kicked for loading up a LAV with REs to take out a tank. This was the only thing I did in FW since it was my first match. Broken FF is broken. I'm sticking with pubs.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"
