I just tried out my first FW Match and was thrown out due to friendly fire shortly before it ended. I think it was due to a grenade throw.
I was #1 in WP and kills when that happened, killing and reviving people left and right. The fact that this happened in the first ever match I played is concerning. At least it doesn't seem to be possible to go into negative standing, but waiting a whole days before I can try again is frustrating, especially after not being able to complete a match. And the booster I bought and activated is useless for the time being. I wasn't playing reckless, since I am used to FF in PC matches. Does anyone else have similar experiences?
I'll try Minmatar FW now, being extra careful.

I don't know either, since I can't test it anymore. I threw a grenade that didn't kill anyone (I think you also get -50WP for killing a member of your team). It feels off though that after repping and reviving blueberries throughout the match you still get kicked.

Yeah..... unless it was a weird grenade glitch that somehow netted you 5000 damage, you had been damaging people before. And 5000 friendly damage isn't exactly a small number. That's like killing 5 really well tanked proto suits. I mean, it sucks you cant play for a day but that is the penalty. Hopefully you'll be more careful in the future.

I think until you level up a bit in standings you need to be extra careful. I'm probably making fittings just for FW.

To my understanding, it is four reported TKs. Why would you even do one reported TK. Who is not going to report a TK. Outside of frinds/corp members.

also if you read the dev notes if you TK the player you kill votes on whether to punish you or not for the tk so if you kill a corpmate or friend by accident and they vote no you won''t be penalized. and it's 4tks , you still ge tthe damage counted towards the 5k whether the tk is reported or not
