its def armor vs shields. well when we get the other races tanks it will be. but i guess until then it's caldari vs gallente

both tanks are under one skill now and you only need lvl one cal or gal for unlocking the racial tanks. dont know what the multiplier on the races are tho. think HAV will be 4x, not too bad really...

my determination to care in this game is pretty low and i am at the point i can play for extended periods of time without toking. just rage too much. hopefully things will change very shortly, then all the hypocrites can enjoy being on the other side of the equation for a couple months.

I'm gonna use shields.
I always wanted to try out the Gunnlogi and since I can earn LP from both the Minmatar & Caldari I can use these to run my HAVs for "free".
Plus I'm tired of piloting Madrugars. They don't even look that good.

AV =/= Completely dominate and render vehicles useless. AV = Counterpart of vehicles that combats vehicles.

My thoughts:
A surge of people will skill into combat rifles and rail rifles. People will realize the burst style combat rifles are total poop and that the assault ones are far more efficient at tearing through armor very quickly, tears from armor tankers will be gleefully harvested. Armor tankers will complain about how their TTK suddenly dropped notably and the shield tankers, who suffered under the rise of shield killing weapons, will have no sympathy for their plight.
After this goes on for a while a minority of players will really take to the rail rifle, which greatly out ranges both the assault rifle and the combat rifle. These people will realize that people on roofs and more open maps are very vulnerable to them, where before they can use their opponents lack of cover and their long range to their advantage. This will cause great anger from people who like to dwell in such places, like mass drivers, laser rifles, and other such creatures. |

The way I see it, I'll be investing in all vehicles from now on. By speccing into armor and shield early on, I'll be able to train into any variant much more easily rather than limiting myself to just shields or armor.
