That's what I've been saying for months. If you want to be the best counter against yourselves, then you can't be effective against infantry as well. You can be Anti-Vehicle or Anti-Infantry. But you can't be good at both; just like AV. And before you even say "Well what about the FG?"; the FG's description is Anti-Material. Meaning it's designed for both infantry and vehicles. but what about "balance"? oh and rails and missiles are unusable against infantry at ALL, blasters are the problem Then do what True Adamance wants.
Remove them.
As for FGs, I say no because heavies only have 2 weapons that can kill infantry.

If that fit is easily wrecked by MLT/STD or ADV AV then you need some serious pilot training. And why are you driving into crowds of infantry long enough to have them place a Nanohive and constantly throw AV grenades? That's like me complaining about getting killed when I jump into a group of enemies. no. its about me fulfilling my role and helping my teambreach through enemy positions You can fulfill your role just as well by not driving straight into enemy positions. i am not discussing anti vehicle. i can solo maddys with a blaster anyday.
i am supposed to take and deal heavy damage. i dont want godmode. but taking heavy damage is impossile without popping.

My MK.0 scout gets killed by MLT crap even faster than your tank. And for the 350 HP they have , 160k per suit is a robbery
ANYONE in PROTO gear can be killed by MLT/STD gear easily. if the player with proto gear is not skilled enough that is.

And Proximity Explosives? I can easily survive even 6 of them.

To put a more informal spin on things; "Bro, do you even Active Scan?"
Seriously though. Turn on your active scanner and you can easily see the enemies ahead. And they have a quick cooldown time with a long duration.

But neither is infantry being seriously threatened by tanks. Most they can do is support infantry and give cover while Infantry can only help other tanks down an enemy tank.

They also can barely use nitrous.
I personally thing with should have a special type of slot, similar to infantry equipment slots for goodies such as Active Scanners and Nitrous.
That way, shield tank users won't be f***ed over by the fact that they can barely fit anything on thier vehicles without sacrificing tons of HP.
This is also why the Charybolis has 4 highs and 2 lows while the Limbus gets 3 highs and 3 lows.

I've had tanks i tried to SOLO (yeah yeah i know shush) With my PROTO BREACH FORGE GUN, PROF 5, 2 Cx Damage mods and they take 4 hits to the face like its nothing, and their reppers get them to almost full life while im reloading. heh....
(Of course MLT ones usually dont last more than 2. DS fall in 1 shot usually unless they are LLAvs)

And they usually annoy the S**t out of me in closed objectives.So far as killing me or finishing me while i try to flee (this late statement im talking about my regular ADV suits)

I dont tower snipe. I do however look for a comfty position since im a HEAVY, with a weapon that SUCKS against INFATRY, and i CANT EVEN MOVE while charging it...

Well 'ive seen DS pilots kill with 1 only 1 Rocket connecting...
Maybe you need to stop relying so much on SPLASH DAMAGE and get your aim right.
