Unfortunately 9 times outta 10 running away does nothing but get you shot in the back.... 
I think the Minmatar mediums should be classified as heavy scouts and recieve attention when CCP refocuses on scouts in the next build.

This whole discussion seems to depend upon the fallacy that the game devs have any clue whatsoever about the 'balance' they're supposed to be trying to create. Their entire process to date has been meant to create a series of FOTMs, and for December 2013, the Minmatar assault isn't it. Wait another 6 months, like the previously-underperforming Gallente logi has, and maybe you'll have your time... hopefully the game will last long enough fot that to happen at all. |

I beg to differ on the Gallogi. It has always had a passive 5 armor rep at lvl 5, it has always had a bonus to equipment fittings, it has always had access to repping hives. The Gallogi has always been decent, at least as decent as the Amarr. It's just that it's utility was overlooked due to the issues with the Callogi. Once the Callogi was fixed and armor got buffed, that's when it went from par to OP.
As for waiting 6 months, we already have. Gallogi was always decent and went from decent to extreme. In the same amount of time the Minmatar have gone from poor/semi-viable to almost completely broken. All we want is for Minmatar to straddle the par, to hell with getting to be OP.
