 Swarms are not viable with 175k range competitively, so Forge Guns are the only option left, even if they do get nerfed. I'm training the Forge Gun and standard Heavy suit right now.
 
 If they are nerfed too hard I guess it's Remote Explosives for land vehicles. Don't know what I'm going to do against dropships.

 That's just lock on range, not the range they can travel. This just means you have to actually use tactics and wait to ambush vehicles, instead of seeing a tiny dot halfway across the map and firing invisible swarms their way.

 about 90% of my swarm deaths have been at 80 meters+ anything further out I generally been able to not only dodge but make the guy mag out entirely and then kill him back.

 Then what was the problem with swarms again? The way is now vehicles will actually have to retreat to escape. The way it will be in 1.7 is vehicle will only have to turn the corner or just causally fly high to retreat. This puts immense pressure on AV because even if you do the absolute minimum and "deter" the vehicle, the time that the vehicle has to wait before it can come back with offensive presence is cut tremendously, and you're not getting anything out of it.

How much eHP and resistance does this dropship have? (If it's militia then I have never came across a militia one I couldn't two shot with my swarm fit)
