Nothing about wanting to educate people implies he has a disorder. Nothing about getting slightly bugged by people being incorrect about something implies he has a disorder either, that's normal. You don't need to get hostile or start insulting, you're still free to be incorrect or ignorant.

Also, it's "I COULDN'T care less". The saying is supposed to imply that you give 0% of a damn, hence, you couldn't care less. If you could care less, then you care at least a little about the subject because you're stating that your degree of concern could be smaller which defeats the intended purpose of the saying which is that you absolutely do not care at all about whatever.

Getting annoyed at grammar will slowly wear you down and frustrate you. Bad grammar is everywhere. I reckon the English language is in the process of change. It won't be long till uppercase letters are a thing of the past and words will get shorter with no vowels. English is a living language and the rules change over time it's just annoying when the change happens in your lifetime.
Unless you let it go slightly bugs me will eventually become it f*cks me off so much. Try and see bad grammar as proof that you a speaking a living adaptable language. Grammar is slowly being killed off with spell check and txt speak. People get annoyed when you point out bad grammar to them and it's possible to understand what they meant even if their grammar is wrong.
That said however I would like someone to explain to me the proper use of commas because I think their correct use is important when reading messages and as my grammar is pretty poor I'm not fully sure when to use them instead of full stops. |

You know, sometimes I give people a break because English may not be their first language. But most of the time you can tell given the grammar structure, word choice, etc...
So that leaves:
-People that are too lazy to give a damn about what words mean, or too lazy to spell them correctly and use them properly -People that use phones that auto-correct and are too lazy to manually fix things -People that are just dumb motherfuckers
The only people I end up respecting are the people who I think may be foreign.
It doesn't annoy me or bother me much, nor do I have an overwhelming need to correct it.... I just think "here's another dumbass lazy slob...." |
