My dumb*** kept spawning deluded that I would get atleast one kill. They were all over us. Left the match. Thats the decision you have to make. If your not having fun, leave the match. Screw them, don't add to their kdr. Sometimes, I leave the match when the stompers are on my team because I know it will be boring. Other than that one match, tonight really wasn't that bad. Its just part of the game we play, and it will probably stay that way. Edit: Joining a corp or squadding up does reduce the amount of times you're on the stomped side. Great job, team. Head back to the MCC for debriefing and cocktails.

I really pity some of them as a result of observing their performance in-game over many months. I often leave protostomp matches because if you're not looking for a challenge and I am; well, then we need to be in different matches. I rarely leave matches these dudes 'stomp' in, though. Sometimes I look at some of the names in these corps, people I've been following for months and months and see the amount of deaths they rack up in their proto suits w/ proto or officer weapons and I genuinely feel bad for them. Some people aren't looking for a challenge and yet simultaneously need all the help they can get.... it's sad.

As soon as I see an officer weapon on the kill feed, my number one priority becomes killing that player. The weapons are too rare to run consistently. As for the corps themselves, don't worry about it - remember if you're not having fun, just leave. The corps you've mentioned I've come up against many times in a bunch of randoms and seen them struggle. They're organised, bu there's nothing impressive about a group of people going around in a big blob killing everyone they come across. If you come across them one to one they're easy to take down - officer weapon or not.

I was on their team I did actually mention that in the OP, try reading it and you might not make such uninformed responses PS It ruins the game ... do you have any idea what it's like for a new player to get slaughtered game in game out because matchmakign is poor and you have corps like the 2 scrub ones I mentioned runnign the best possible gear to stomp new players !!! When FW has more balanced matches than pubgames then you know their is a serious issue ... The only reason certain players and corps run full proto in pubgames is because they know they will be in for an easy game ...

Yesterday I had ambush matches with 9 rainbow effect members plus some ahrendee mercenaries, only few fielding anything but proto. And a few minutes later a match with 9 maphia clan corp members fielding proto. Why could the matchmaker not have matched these two team instead of putting them up against randoms, that would have been a much more challenging match for both corps. There is allot of proto stomping going on at the moment, and it is frustrating as a new player not having any options to counter them. I at least can field my own proto suits, lost 1mill isk in the skirmish match vs maphia clan, thank you for the team member placing droplinks that avoided redlining. No isk loss in the ambush match with rainbow effect, 9 protos zerging around the map, luckily it was a big map and I could avoid the proto scanners, damned proto scanners Some corps are proto stomping ambush matches, some are protostomping skirmish matches and some domination matches, there really is no place a new player can go to avoid the at times very uneven matches.

A place is needed where players can avoid proto squads, I am not a skilled player but can easily take down new players when in my proto suit. The passive skill points and equipment makes a big difference besides knowledge of the maps, weapons etc. Nothing will keep the proto stompers away as long as it is possible for them to dominate the other team without risc. We just have to accept the fact that some players find enjoyment in easy mode. Like in EVE lots of pirates find enjoyment in shooting down defenseless ships, even if there is no isk worth of salvage, just because it is fun to grief others. This is also the part that allures me to Dust, try to fight against the jerks, no easy fights as I keep away from proto corps.
