they cost aurum.
people bought thousands, then they nerfed them because they were OP.... but no one got any compensation for this they just got to keep the useless nades.
now they do it with bpo's, yes they are giving back aurum, but this is after they promised they wouldn't remove them.
and the aurum is worthless... as you see with what they did with the grenades, you cant trust the stuff you buy will retain its value.
its not just about removing bpo's, its more about ccp not being reliable and making me feel comfortable about spending money on their game... as a customer who deeply supported ccp I feel betrayed.
if they continue this type of business practice its only a matter of time before it affects you.
so smarten up and see the bigger picture here.

Unless there is a need to remove, G-1 scouts, C-1 Assaults, SMGs, Drop uplinks, Scrambler Rifles, Scrambler Pistols and just about every other piece of gear it should be safe and weapons and equipment are heavily installed archetypes I don't think they're getting removed at any time. Also if they do get removed/shifted like they did during uprising 1.0 I think the most common complaint again will be "why you messin with my skills ccp I cant fit these bpos anymore!" In which they where stats adjusted and the sorts as well.

The reasonable thing to do, would be to replace the revoked BPOs with equivalent militia BPOs from the new modules.
CCP simply took the opportunity presented by the vehicle changes to screw over a large number of its players.

Only bpo i use is a valor scout so im fine with the vehicle bpo removal. Makes those expensive things a risk to run. Though i wish my dragonfly assault and toxin rifle could be swapped from the character i never played. Out of curiosity is there a way to do this? |

Now that you mention it, I remember when a bunch of Call of Duty scrubs went emo rage on one of the devs. Threatened the CoD Dev with murder followed by raping his wife and children. Total lunacy over just a simple re-balancing change on an assault rifle.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Yes I was here, contact grenades were complete bull ****. I remember every prototype suit I would try to kill would pull out a contact grenade and instant kill me. How do you think mass driver users felt? Or anyone that couldn't buy thousands of them? They reduced their damage because players were abusing them. Do you really think op weapons that are only available through aur should be allowed? do you support the idea that dust should be pay to win? If so please leave now you're in the wrong game.
I'm tiered of seeing these threads complaining about the removal of bpos of moduals that will no longer exist in the game. They gave you your aur back, you say its worthless but you can buy anything on the aur market with it. Do you just horde aur weapons? Why? They are meant to be used. Maybe you will say hey I like this weapon or I don't like this weapon so you can plan sp.
I would spend money on dust if I'm happy with direction or features and want to through the CCP dust team a bone for their hard work. Yes I too have bpos, but like iron wolf saber said above, if they remove basic caldari medium suits and basic assault rifles my concerns would be more about the actual suit than the aur I'm being refunded. The isk suit not the aur suit.
If you don't feel comfortable giving money to CCP then don't! Its a free ******* game numbnuts! Nobody cares that your not happy your getting a refund!
So far I'm content with CCP's business practice, they have given me a free game that's very addicting and I chose to spend some money to support them in return they gave me some free suits. I don't need them to play, in fact its low teir equipment. Even if this was effecting me I wouldn't care, as a dropships pilot I need better equipment anyway. I'd use the aur refund to buy boosters and get some more sp to spend on new skills.
I am seeing the bigger picture, this is not a conspiracy. I enjoy playing this game, I enjoy the updates and when there is a good one I support ccps work, even if its only a couple bucks.
Your kind needs to stop, cod players threatened death and **** to a Dev for changing a reload time by .01 seconds. They made the whole gaming community look like little entitled *****. Stop proving them right....

The difference, which you don't seem to get, is that contact grenades, while they WERE nerfed, were still usable in the gae. These MILITIA modules will not.

Actually, it does affect gameplay. It affects it everytime someone that bought a BPO has to equip a consumable item instead. It affects it on the fact that CCP offered us this chance to buy items that for an AUR price does not require ISK. It affects us a lot and the fact that you can make this post and not feel dirty like your uncle was doing bad things in the basement again leads me to believe that you have no soul. It also affects CCPs bottom line to keep BPOs in game. That is why they are scrapping them. What F2P company lets you buy gear that lasts forever........ UNHEARDOF........Oh, maybe I should pound sign that. |

DCUO has things you can get in the market that you can keep. Skins, and things like that. Oh, AND DC COMICS CHARACTERS THAT YOU CAN PLAY... forever.
