Great, that really does me a lot of good when I'm parked outside of a hot zone firing off the back of my LAV in a fat suit, and some random jack*** decides to hop in my very expensive pimped out ride and then proceeds to do any and everything possible in a mad attempt to destroy my baby.

doesnt fix the problem fact is this doesnt help not even a little blue dots will still run up to tanks afk unhendered waste minit turrets now limited ammo ruin all stealth tactics ..prevent tankers from recalling
..same concepts apply to durp ships and lavs as well..ccp made it clear they DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY a vehicle lock is needed because they're supposed SOLUTION fixs NOTHING anyone who wants a vehicle lock will tell you what ccp is implementing with 1.7 is crap wont fix the problem wont even lessen it..and as a cpm member for you to not know that is a huge failing. clearly there is no solid vehicle representation in cpm or ccp would never have thought this would solve the issue |

yh we still got the problem after 15 seconds but its a start. this is 1 of the most frustrating things for me in this game players need the ability to swap to any seat regardless of whos in it thus kicking them out of the vehicle, then a sub menu with the 3 permission locks. |

everybody seems to be addicted to ranting atm ive done my fair share but no game has ever done what dust is trying to achieve they have taken on a mammoth task take a break from it or do what i do forget about winning and head off into a match with ur grenades see how many times u can suicide attck ppl or how many ppl u can cook up a grenade on, i mean literally forget ur other weapons and don't worry about dyin just have a laugh. this is why i miss being able to run ppl over cos i could take a break from shooting and have a bit of fun. |

This is honestly a ****** fix. I want the option to not let anyone who is not in my squad in any of my vehicles ever. It doesn't sound that difficult to implement.

You could you know... remove the small turrets and they can't hop into your HAV then.
Also console design doesn't really make locking and unlocking your vehicle easier, I mean what if they decide you know what lets put it in the squad command menu. Or have it preset in your fitting but what if you need to unlock it for other folks mid fight crisis?
Also playing in organized games like PC lock doesn't become an issue at all or shouldn't be an issue to begin with.
What are you going to complain next? FW blueberries blowing up your vehicle with AV weapons?

It's not a lock. You get out, someone else can get the driver's seat and laugh as they're rolling away.
Lock timer =/= lock.
Even a 5th grader knows that.

HAV survivability increased by 350%.
Only matches where I rarely get kills is when everyone is inside a city or somewhere inaccessible by my tank.

This is the one that upsets me the most, I have lost more vehicles due to passengers than any other reason. I had one guy delay the 'start' of my match in a rail gunlogi by five minutes today, because of an "OMFG THERES A TANK I NEED TO BE IN IT" blueberry, who refused to leave my tank... who spent five minutes shooting at the MCC or me in the turret, who got out of my vehicle and wasted all of his shotgun ammo doing a little dance on my tank.
This type of situation happened in THREE consecutive matches (twice in one match with two different players) and all of the players received a mail from me titled "GET OUT AND STAY OUT", and only one was even slightly apologetic about it.
I want a vehicle lock with three stages - open to everyone, open to squad and open only to owner, switching from one to another kicks players out (there needs to be some restriction on this to avoid being abused, I'd say being stationary on ground for dropship pilots, and in general not being in redline for any vehicle).
I am tired of losing vehicles to people refusing to get out, constantly firing guns so I cant sneak up on anything and while I am awfully tempted to simply remove turrets from my vehicles they are useful enough at times that I don't really want to have to call in a whole new tank and recall another just to have them. |

FW blueberries blowing up your vehicle with AV weapons? You know what i rather see? Remote recall. Blueberry hops in, you recall it, blueberry gets taken off with rdv in flight and kills him.

GTA 5 Personal Vehicle Lock is a prime example of you being "BZZZZZZZZT!!!!" wrong as per usual. Add this to the Right D-Pad Menu under Vehicles Tab, or even right there with Vehicles & Off Map Support, & viola.....Temp Solution UI Hook 'till a better optimization is made (This is the best probable location I found to implement this solution.)
I personally want Blueberries in my Vehicle (GASP!!! Did he just say that???), I just want them to GTFO & put in WORK, not elect to get CARRIED while essentially AWOXing our Function/Survivability..... What use is a Derpship or Clown Car without Dots??? That MCRU does whuuuuuuuuuut??? A proposal for a simple solution for this is feasable & simple enough, so much so that it even has a snuggly fit in our currently existing UI.....EJECT BUTTON!!!!!
If you can code Roadkill Collisions to be Sticky or Repellant then the same can be done internally. Add a FREE Resourceless Module with every Vehicle on the 10:30 of our Radial Menu (Top-Left). There is no feasable way to reach, nor exceed our current 8-Point Active Module UI, so this Module proposal imposes no collisions.
Speaking of Collisions.....Dots would immediately be Ejected around the base of the Tank, as if a forced Circle Prompt were hit. If not that....then Module forces Clipping on *.* Frames of said Tank, forcing an NES Mario-esque Rejection from the Solid. It would interact similarly to those within the path of a moving Vehicle, Repulsion.
This results in Happy Feet FREE WP/SP/ISK for the Carried Scrublet, and a "Learning Tool" ala Forced Correction, teaching in a "Fight or Flight" manner to GTFO & Hack, shoot AVers, or die trying to flee..... But WTF do I care??? I'm just here to not "Contribute" & watch you squirm.......amiright??? |

every cpm member should represent a different aspect of the game so they can give solid feedback n something that matters to them clearly in regards to vehicles this doesnt exist...
if ccp rogue had asked anyone who knew dust and this aspect of dust they would have told him that this slight timer difference will not make a difference ..people will still be on here asking for a VEHICLE LOCK no a vehicle TIMER..the idiot blue dot shenanigans are going to get even worse 1.7...not only that but now blue dots will waste all tanker ammo all the time...

12 battle busses, a small army needed transport to the next site and all of them were locked from everyone there. The busses drove off and died without infantry support and the army chasing the busses on foot got slaughtered in the open.

I could not do much at my home letter because most people were above me, and the cowardly missile tank could outrange me grating it coverage of most their home letter. With out that FG I could have supported the city held the bridge or been at least slightly effective near their home letter. I only went to the bridge to push the enemy tank off so the infantry could get the hack.
Actually hundreds if not thousands of people participate in PC including dozens if not hundreds of tankers. I also doubt your tank with 1 mil SP did jack in said PC.
