Hey CCP, if you remove any of my AUR purchased BPOs I want the cash back, not your AURUM. I did not buy AUR to spend on consumable items that vanish into thin air when destroyed. I purchased BPOs so that I can have an ISK free group of items to use when I see fit. The fact that you are swindling people out of their purchase is a bad business practice and I hope that people see this act and it makes up their mind to not buy any more AUR from you. |

Excuse me, but they're only going to be removing a few BPO items. The rest, we're keeping.
Also, if you're a closed-beta vet who managed to purchase BPOs at 50-100 AUR a piece back then and you own these few BPOs being removed, you stand to profit a lot in AUR.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Also, when it comes to cash refunds, that sounds like something you need to talk to Sony about. But even if they do help you, it's very likely you'll only be able to get a PSN Store credit rather than a full cash refund.

You're getting a full refund on an item you've been getting use out of for potentially months. Get a grip you fussy ****.

Looks like someone needs to read the "terms and conditions" before ever signing his name (and his money) to any contractual agreement.
Your inability to read thoroughly and within the fine print is no one's fault but your own. As previously stated...

/\ TH!S For me it's more or less the same, in the end a BPO purchased with AUR had to use real money to get the AUR to make the BPO purchase. Since a BPO is intended as a "DLC" as in an item you download and have forever, it seems fair to provide a full cash refund. Either that or allow us to select one of the many BPOs you have removed from the market yet still exist in game.
For example I have 4 Vehicle Module BPOs CCP intend to remove with the 1.7 Patch. Yet I personally purchased them as Collector items to use in game. So 4x4K AUR = 16000 , i'd rather select a BPO Dropsuit still ingame, as an EXCHANGE . Or if CCP prefer a MUTUAL AGREEMENT. |

Because it is the same issue as then. Only now it is a dev blogged issue. NO REMOVAL OF BPOs WITHOUT A SIMILAR ITEM REPLACING IT OR CASH REFUND. We don't want your AURUM, we want BPOs or cash. |

You say that now, wait until they make a play for the rest of the BPOs. Fact is CCP needs BPOs gone for market integration. I'm afraid that I have to support to OP on this one. Under the terms of purchase it says that CCP reserves the right to substitute items for others of equal value, and Aur is definitely not a fair trade here.

When CCP went back on their promises and did not refund ppl promised AUR and boosters on game release, everyone was cheering and talking about 'fairness' and 'betterment of the game' that CCP action was bringing. Now CCP is robbing you naked - something that should have been foreseen and ppl started complaining. Up yours!
Oh wait, everyone who never bought BPO will cheer CCP on again and talk about 'fairness' and 'betterment of the game'. We all know where this road leads. There are gonna be no paying customers left and no ppl interested in donating money to support CCP through AUR purchases. Not that CCP would care, by then they will be done with milking the cow and will let it starve to death.

Owns just about every BPO that was sold, is not terribly too upset over losing them since my boosters are about to run out.

you should have predicted that CCP would do this and it was your own choice to spend money on the game ... Decisions matter so No refunds

You bought Aurum. What you intended to do with the Aurum is not really CCPs problem. Besides that I kinda doubt they can give you back the money, because you bought the Aurum via PSN. As this is a PSN purchase you would have to go through Sony to get money back. So actually CCP is doing the best they can. Not even all QQing in the world will be able to give you your money back. |

It makes some sense from both sides.
You bought currency, or bought a pack which contained the BPOs, you didn't spend money on the items, you spent money on AUR.
On the other side of the fence, the bottom line is, you spent money to get something which is now being taken away from you.
I guess it's in the TOS and EULA but do EU really give a TOSs?

To be fair, you spent money on PSN credit to buy Aurum, to buy BPOs, by that logic, if you spent aur on something that is now being changed you should get your aurum back, not your cash, if you want your money back Sony is the one you have to talk to, you already got what you paid for from CCP which is Aur and they are giving it back so you can spend it on whatever you'd like, now if CCP turned Dust into a 34 player cart-racing game I'm pretty sure you could get a PSN credit refund, but you still won't get your money back as you spent it to get PSN credit, which would be refunded for you to spend at your leisure in the event such a thing happens. |
