(( and I do understand the Logi draw backs, but they can cover almost any other suits specialised role better than it can and still support the team)) You do not see an issue with the fact that you are just about as slow as a heavy stuck using a pistol or sub machine gun when the rest of your team is dying and there is nothing you can do to stop it because you max range is 30 feet. Try making a logi with only a pistol on it and try to play as a logi. Then maybe you will not come up with such ******** ideas. My advanced Scrambler Pistol is effective to 30 meters.
My SMG is good till 20M.
Have you actually tried a Logi with just a sidearm? Or are you making reckless assumptions?

Logis need their light weapon. The problem is they are required to fit weapons, and since they are meant for lots of equipment, they can field basically proto everything, making them better than assaults.
Solution: require equipment slots be filled instead of weapons. Forces people to sacrifice some proto gear for equipment, whether they like it or not. |

I agree with this point, but I would suggest that their bonus be changes from passive reps to something more useful as well. Like a equip fitting reduction.

Here I have to disagree Logis can't perform the other suits role better but they can cover a lot of roles and i belive this is what makes a good support class. |

That requires prep, and assuming you don't get head shot first. All of this goes both ways and the AR doesn't need Flux Nades or head-shots to melt someone using a SMG in less than a second. |
