Actually, he did just say that it doesn't have to be the only counter. Kinda shooting yourself in the foot and there are already a lot of bullet wounds.

yes I can say the same thing, all iv ever wanted was balance. there is not balance here, vehicles are dead because av is dominant.

1.) AV is dominant right now because of the vast amounts of people who have thier AV skills maxed out. Because of this, only the strongest of the strong can survive. And that's how it should be. Only the strongest of the strong tankers should survive against the strongest of the strong AV users. And vice versa. Only the strongest of the strong AV users should be capable of destroying the strongest of the strong HAV Pilots.
2.) It's not balanced if one thing is greater than the other. Why should I bother with AV if I can use an HAV to destroy it much faster while also being able to devastate infantry simultaneously?

why bother skilling into tanks if they get destroyed 5 seconds after you deploy them? see? no balance
being the fact now that only the strongest of us survive is exactly why its a dying class, there are no new tankers here because its not worth skilling into because its not a fun class anymore.

Strongest HAV =/= Strongest AV
You think I like being AV? Do you think it's fun, thrilling, and action packed? It's quite possibly the most boring role this game has ever created, Even assault is less repetitive and boring than AV. I hate the fact that whenever I see a red RDV I have to either run to the supply depot and grab a Swarm Launcher, or pray that it's an LAV not trying to play NFS: Muder Taxi Edition.
The whole AV vs HAV problem is very similar to what many would like to call "protostomping". We have beginners and New Tankers who don't quite know what they are doing being pitted up against players like me who has millions of SP invested into AV. Tanks are a dying class because of the fact that very few people are good enough to survive against the best AV. And there are so many people with PRO AV that if you don't have at least 5m SP invested into vehicles, you can prepare to lose your tank.
Tanking is currently like 1 squad with PRO gear and 10 randoms in starter fits being pitted against 16 brick tanked logis carrying Duvolles.

Tanks should not be the best counter to tanks, That's Tank 514. Not even that; remove the team quota and you'd have a new release of World Of Tanks.
AV = HAV
HAV = AV
FG = SL = PLC
It is a video game. And it needs to be balanced around complete equality because of this. Not your average everyday "Only other pilots should be able to destroy us and we should be the best and only counter to our own class" QQ BS that tankers like you fill the community with.

The HAV ALWAYS has the right of way. Your vehicle is more nimble, faster, and far more agile. Expecting a tank to slam on its brakes when it is being chased by swarms or forges is not normally going to happen.
