It came, it shot up, explode in beauty (1.7 range buff) and eventually it turns to ash and falls back down to Caldari Prime (YES I KNOW ITS AN AMARR WEAPON! BUT I WANT TO USE CALDARI PRIME BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO!) in the form of a nerf to end it once and for all.
From what I've read, I get the feeling that CCP Wolfman like the SCR. A lot was put into the thought of this gun. Its unique to an extent. Its not the hardest thing in the world to master, but it takes time to learn. The Basic SCR is good enough to use on its own.
I played with 0uter.Heaven's Eldest Dragon last night, and we decided to to dual SCR in a Skirmish. We r*ped face. And we also got r*ped by an ASCR guy on the other side too (the cheater SCR). The top players of that match were using the SCR, and the gap in scores showed that it was more than just the gun that was doing the work.
I get messaged all the time from noobs who call me hacker because I dropped them in 3-4 shots, less than .2 seconds. Even I was a little bit ignorant to the SCR when it was owning me (my fault for using Caldari) but then I used it for myself. Its not a pick up and go weapon.
But I'm taking this information to the grave. 99% of my SCR kills comes against from ignorant players. Some Prototype OP who thinks he doesn't have the right to die, and comes running full blaze with his AR in the wide open. Or some Starter noob that comes straight on.
The ultimate SCR balance is the fact that you can't take on 3 people at once. The TTK is short, but on the user's side it's long, because waiting for charges, semi auto fire, and the possibility of an over heat seize up makes that gun balanced. Just because someone makes it look easy, doesn't mean it is.
Plus, the darn PG it uses really makes you realize you can't just pile on the Damage Mods and Armor. I don't have the gun past level 3. I have level 3 reload, and nothing more skilled into it, proficiency 0. |

If you are at medium range, and you have to switch to your sidearm before a seize up, you're still f*cked, because the other guy(if he's using an AR) has plenty of bullets he can still fire and not take anything into consideration |

I think this proves that increasing "TTK" will only harm ScR users. You guys obviously have some semblance of skill in the weapon and you're arguing you need the opponent to make a mistake for you to kill them easily.
So is it not true that raising the TTK simply gives people who do make the mistake of running out into the open or standing still in the middle of the battlefield a chance to get away from a kill that you stumbled upon?
Don't get me wrong, I understand where people are combing from when they say they die too quickly. But all this general bull kitten about raising TTK is going to give CCP the wrong impression and they'll end up raising eHP or something like that with no consideration for the consequences of people like these guys who use a weapon that will suffer immensely from increased TTK.
Please, all of you who are so adamant about "raising TTK" or "extending TTK", make up your minds about what you specifically want, because simply asking for TTK to go up is not bloody good enough.
FPS Player Logic: Something only needs a nerf when it directly affects me. If I'm not playing against noobs with the most powerful setup in the game, I'm not happy. Its not fair, my deaths shouldn't count simply because they shouldn't...
