Why is it that the only education given about the 4 (techincally 5) races a 30 second clip?
And of that 30 second clip the only things that could be drawn from that is Gallente and Minmatar are perfect little angels and Caldari and Ammarians are corporate dictators and religious bigots.
Now think about this, If a newberry decides to start playing this game, what does he do before picking a race? Does he take a look and read up on lore and decide which race is the best choice for him?
No. All he does is watch the 15-30 second clips. And those small snippets are way too biased towards the Gallente and Minmatar to be considered credible.
I say we include some lore into the DUST side of New Eden and make those video descriptions actually meaningful and credible

(shrugs) Caldari is awesome though from what I got from their bio. But I liked Minmatar's bio better and was more suited to how I think. |

Well, I had some type of understanding since before Dust, I was reading up on EVE lore a little bit. The one thing I like about Caldari is their fierce determination, even in the face of death. |

Signed. The introduction to the 4 empires is pretty biased. They should show the best and worst qualities of each empire.

Most folks don't even know the racial intro videos exist when they are creating their first character. I know I would have selected a different racial option if I had understood more.
I actually think if your racial option had impacts on skills or perks folks would pay a LOT more attention. |

A real sniper doesn't provide battlefield intelligence, a real sniper leaves no intelligence left on the battlefield.

By the time I found out about the four races, I was at 6mil SP and had to start all over again.

Yes, but this isn't your Run-Of-The-Mill FPS. This is an "MMO"FPS that has "ties" with the New Eden universe.

Nope at this moment for the most part this is my run-of-the-mill fps and even if it wasn't we still all just shoot each other.

I chose Amarr because I was pure Amarrian for the longest time ever in EVE. But why was I Amarr in EVE? First, I like their backstory as the largest and most powerful empire, and a religious one as well. Second, their ships were the best aesthetically; plus I came about to love armor tanking. And third, energy weapons were my favorite of all the weapons.
So yes, I am pro Amarr for ever! Long live the empire!
P.S. I can't wait to get my hands on some Amarr vehicles. Although I'm an armor tanker of old, I'll never betray my Caldari brethren and operate Gallente vehicles. So I can only operate Caldari vehicles, which which has made me a skilled shield user as well.
