Most folks don't even know the racial intro videos exist when they are creating their first character. I know I would have selected a different racial option if I had understood more.

I actually think if your racial option had impacts on skills or perks folks would pay a LOT more attention.

The only story that matters in New Eden is what you create.

Signed. The introduction to the 4 empires is pretty biased. They should show the best and worst qualities of each empire.

Of course there's more to each race than just the bio but that's a good overview.

It won't necessarily do the Amarr any good unless they did away with the slavery part in the description, the religious part isn't even bad, it's the pairing of the two that makes a pretty potent potion of "**** these guys" but that's a very significant part of their culture, to not have that would be like saying the Caldari aren't founded on the tenants of hardwork or Minmatar Culture isn't tribal in nature or Gallente having the most diverse population of the faction.

Not to be crass but to restate what the other poster said before me, truth hurts.


Besides, the description for the Amarr gives them several big +1 to persuade a person:

*the largest and oldest of the four empires
*Amarrian citizens tend to be highly educated
*the Amarr Empire is the most stable nation and most powerful military in New Eden
