DUST Search - Kicked while waiting for the Black Screen to disappear

OK it follows:

i was in 3rd slot on squad, both the squad lead and i were east coast region based in the USA,

we launch into battle, right after the loading screen according to what i could hear. their (my buddies, the squad) in match and i'm hearing the war barge commercials, no controls are responsive period, but i can hear the squad perfectly, happened 4:01 pm EST.
match indicated that i left battle, and squad says i'm not in it, however i'm still talking to my buddies in that squad. we waited for merc quarters to load and see if it would drop me back in, it didn't. however the chat channels are also showing that im not online, but i can still hear the buddies on comms.

look at the logs and you should spot it.

i'm using an ssd, i'm not sure if that is a factor, however the ssd sectors read healthy.

EDIT: PS button did not bring me to a menu or anything, i had to pull the power plug to restart the system.

It happened to me several times, but the last time it lasted so long that I've been kicked because of inactivity (anti-AFK system) However, I have to say that the 1st option happened to me as well, but only since 1.6 and only once. IceStormers Forsaken Immortals Top Men. 72	Posted - 2013.11.08 19:02:00 - [6] - Quote played alot of games yesterday not sure what time etc it was however i have spoken to a few corp mates and they have corrected me and gave some info the map was Fracture Road Skirmish i spawned on a spawn beacon on top of the tower at E8 screen was black for about 5 seconds i could fire but then i fell off the back and hit the floor survived and the screen came back think it was in the evening server time, it would have been FW spawning there i expect we were losing, so would either have been up against a good full team of same alliance (rarely happens so should not be hard to find) or our Qsync failed so would only have been our one squad in there that should narrow it down we dont see that map often i will try and keep an eye on it this week to provide better info, i know i dont suffer as bad as some do so pay little attention to the rare issues hope thats enough to help find it, i will post back here with more info as i collect it

It basically involved getting the black screen, and then alternating between pressing START and SELECT until it was gone, and once it was gone, cloaking would stay on for the entire match (Or until you died). Now, I believe they fixed the bug (Didn't see it in the patch notes but haven't encountered it in-game), but the system is still in place where, if you get a black screen, start alternating between pressing START and SELECT. Has worked for me multiple times, no matter what match, what time, and what map. Update: were still on coms, we have 6 people in squad and on coms including myself for a total of 7... this is an amazing bug. time reads 4:35 PM EST, and i'm still hearing the war music and war-barge commercials. Update: 4:37 PM EST, squad can join battles. with me still on comms and they can hear me and vice versa.

The reason why you could still chat with your friends is the VIVOX process wasn't dead at that time. We've been aware of such crash issue and are working on it. Thank you

Thank you Black screened trying to enter FW match today for no apparent reason. Only thing I could do at that point was hard boot. I did not try PS button though. Either way I would of missed being with my squad in match.

Sorry but it has been at least a week since it occurred so I dont have the details but I will repost if it happens again. After I died, normal visuals resumed and I was able to finish the match.

Thank you I've actually been getting a variation of the first issue for the last 30 minutes, but I'll actually get to the loading screen and be able to hear the other people on the team and then I'll be kicked back to MQ. Also, I've been getting disconnected like crazy since yesterday. The disconnections were worse yesterday than today though.

Even something as simple as spawning makes my screen black for a good 30 seconds to 60 seconds. The only troll to successfully troll CCP.
