Anyone have any other nominations for most useless weapon at advanced or prototype?? Yeah was playing Skyrim most of today............

The basic laser has less ISK cost, less CPU cost and less PG cost. I can fit more complex damage mods on a suit with a basic laser. I can fit LESS complex damage mods when using a viziam laser. I end up haveing MORE damage output capability from a basic laser. Viziam proto laser useless.

Max Ammo, Charge Up Time, Reload Speed all remain the same. The only reason to skill it to level 5 is to get the inherent bonus that reduced Charge Time by like .15 seconds LOL Redonkulous

I tried the basic laser with no skills and it sucked . However since I have MD at prof 3 and AR at prof 5 I said lets try the laser?? Right now I have laser at operations level 5 and proficiency at level four. The basic laser outperforms the advanced and prototype lasers. Ohh and the Viziam has this extra drawback of 225 hp damage if you overheat so it leads to expensive suicides. At least the prototype plasma cannon does a bit more damage when you use it and does not autokill the user.

Three more bullets shot from viziam with one complex mod versus three less bullets with a basic laser and four mods. I get more kills with a basic laser. Your turn. /facepalm you are like a brick wall the laser gets more damage based on heat build up. the viziam has less build up per second, alowing you to fire longer and in turn do more damage. so the viziam DOES in fact have a higher damage potential than the standard. Nova Knives have the same range from standard to proto, and if you've ever used them since 1.6 or even 1.5, then you would know that they are 100x less useable than the laser. How exactly does a Biscuit gain Valor?
