Sometime during the open beta I discovered that SCP headshots are enjoyable and now I've been using them for quite a while. Yesterday I finished a lonewolf public match 16/0 with 8 headshots on my dual TT-3 Assault SCP fit.

I chose it because its much more reliable than killing enemy strafers with a duvolle, which tends to miss easy, sometimes a little too much. I got plenty of other proto weps but its only with the Freedom MD I can use my proficiency 5 with 5 complex damage mods :d

I PC with the Forge Gun because my abusive supervisors make me do it. I pub with the scrambler rifle because it's nice to actually kill something occasionally.

The LR is a different kind of weapon and cannot be used like some primitive weapon that uses some type of projectile to biomass mercs. Sweet photons. The Mass Driver has always been my favourite weapon in this game! So I biomassed my orginal, and started again!

Ive always been a Semi Auto user or On the run Sniper user, ive used the Tac back in Chromosone when it was still very much Teh Sck, then the Tac got upgraded and it blew people away by the dozen. So i chose the new SCR back when it launched and let go of the OP Tac because i dont want to run FOTM to win but i do want to use a Semi Auto weapon. Hence Imperial SCR

It's just so fun in cqc, a merc dances around a corner thinking he's got cover, and you just shoot the wall behind him and kill him with splash. Low ammo count and all, it's sex on a stick...also it's so much more satisfying when you do manage a direct hit... Not new, just new to you.

I came back to it around 1.4 (I think?) with this guy and decided, if I was going to master this weapon, I need a sidearm-less suit. My goodness is the HMG in Dust514 far away from an real life MG. Been trying out other weapons on my alts, but meh... The plasma cannon is cool, might specc into it and use on my heavy main char when the forge gun gets nerfed.

Initially had AR 5 AR prof 4, decided that I wanted to spend my pooled SP to try different weapons and went for stuff not often used (AR/MD were prevalent). Put some SP into plasma cannon, scrambler rifle, and fell in love with the PLC, although the ScR is fun too!

SMG: Because Aim Assist turned it from a good sidearm into THE BEST sidearm. Scrambler Rifle: Because CCP said, "**** you snipers, we hate you... but we still love Forge Guns, Mass Drivers, and Rail Tanks sniping." The charge shot is the best part, makes it a more mobile Sniper Rifle that can do CQC yep, those are my weapons with Proficiency 3+ and the reasons why

So I moved on to ScRs, but I got used to them as well. I still feel accomplished with them, but I was getting bored. Now I'm using Placons, I honestly don't think these things will ever become easy. I think it's a really useful position to play outside of an objective, and keeps you at a proper scan distance from your run and gun squad-mates.

I have every weapon to 3 or better just for the sake of coming back and killing my last assassin with their weapon of choice - in better fashion. But, that was the choice of a very blue noob with much to learn. When those respecs come around, I will thin out my selection in favor of better variants for my go-to weapons. Cheeseburgers.

So i chose the new SCR back when it launched and let go of the OP Tac because i dont want to run FOTM to win but i do want to use a Semi Auto weapon. Hence Imperial SCR Everything you said applies to me as well. That was the exact same road that I traveled, but I did use the laser in Chrome though. I was a TAC user even in Mordu's, all the way up until Chrome, when the made the TAC a joke. That is when I went laser and when THAT got turned into another joke, I went SCR with my respec and never looked back. Imperial ftmfw!

A good sniper doesn't provide battlefield intelligence, a good sniper leaves no intelligence left on the battlefield

After that I fell in love with the PLC and found another reason to log in to the game; it's just so much fun using it. Also befriended some like-minded individuals from the Cannon Fever channel and we have such a great time with all the PLC squads. Cannon4Life!

I wanted to play this game with a rocket launcher, but it's just not the same. Right now it's more of a support weapon...it doesn't get a lot of kills but works well in combination with other weapons. To me it just doesn't have a big enough splash radius for something that's supposed to launch giant projectile. The slow movement speed and arc is also a big downside for me. I have all light weapons up to level 3 and assault rifle at 5 with pro. 3 scrambler rifle 5 with pro. 3 sniper rifle 5 with pro 3.

I love the M4 Carbine and I enjoy CQC High RoF weapons, but Dust only has the Assault Rifle and the SMG that fulfill those roles. I had spec in AR's before the range cap removal or I probably would have gone full SMG, though ideally I would love the SMG to have just 10 more meters of optimal range and it'd be perfect. So... Kinda been using the AR while raising all of my core skills. shrugs Don't like it or hate it. I use it because it's the closest to my ideal weapon right now. Then CCP heard my prayers and have developed the Assault Combat Rifle. 1200 RoF with 50+ meter optimal range. I can't freakin' wait. It's going to be the first weapon I've ever maxed out since I started playing in the E3 build. XD
