First I want you to imagine a heavy suit without any heavy weapons available to it..... yeah its pretty bad and useless as a heavy. Now since the scout is on the opposite side of the spectrum of the heavy, CCP you need to add content that's only usable by the scout. I'm not talking about weapons I'm talking about certain equipment and modules used for electronic warfare, like cloaking or jammers. This gives scouts the edge they need the same way something like the forge gives heavies the edge it needs. What do you have after this? A suit which is now defined on the battlefield.
Also being able to have squad vision back for scouts would be a boost.
Now, Dust population, what would you like to see exclusive to scouts and what would would you like to see available to the rest of the suits?
(talking about items for use in e-warfare)

Yeah that would be cool i hate that med frames are same as scouts, you can do anything as scouts to make them as fast as scouts.

I'd also like to see more mid-range stealth weapons, maybe a suppressor. Smoke grenades would be nice, dashing modules (to get close to an enemy or escape), weapon jamming equipment (they all use CPU, right?), decoy equipment (maybe not like the CoD stuff, but something that makes fake clones pop up on radar), flash bangs, vehicle interruption, communication jamming/communication hacking (it'd be nice to hear what your enemies are talking about), orbital strike interruption (just a delay, not a theft), and maybe some ranged hacking equipment would be cool (very limited range though).
Common sense will prevail. Adapt or die.

I'd go for some sort of Tac-net signature suppression module. Something that removes my chevron and health marker from enemy head's up displays (limited duration; 20 sec maybe) while at the same time removing me from the being marked on the TAC-NET by line-of-sight (high enough precision, or active scanner would still show me as red on TAC-NET.)
Edit: even better would be an imposter module, which shows me as blue to my enemies on Tac-Net and head's up display for a very limited time (10 sec). Infiltration would be very cool with this stuff.... and so would suicide CQC runs into the heart of a fortified enemy position. |

Cloaking as mentioned.
Equipment that interfere with enemy scanners (Highlights their teammates as red dots on the mini map .etc)
Webbers, since meds can nearly run as fast as us, we should be able to slow them down, maybe an AoE grenade like weapon, that can also affect us if we're caught in it.
Remote equipment hackers, another AoE grenade like weapon, that has a blast that hacks all equipment within its radius, instead of destroying Uplinks, you turn them against their enemy.
People have said it before, Scouts should be the 'Anti-Logi'

Why not give Scouts the ability to use any Module in any slot? Basically, make Highs and Lows work in either spot. Wouldn't that give you better options considering most of your mods are mainly Lows? Lose lots of eHP but you could get all the speed/stealth/hacking you want.

I have a problem with scout only mods, the scout is a stripped down barebones suit, if something can fit on it, why wouldn't it fit on a larger suit?
that said, base speed mods. they passively increase your non sprint speed. good for nova knifers and normal scouts speed tank :)

(talking about items for use in e-warfare) I agree, although extending the base radar range for Scouts out to 16m is certainly a good start, at least for the Gallente Scout.
I think Cloaking Devices should only be useable by Scouts.

Well, for cloaking the scout suit has several advantages.
It is smaller so less area needing to be cloaked. Power usage tends to increase exponentially in the real world so it could require an unfeasible amount of power to cloak larger suits. Also, I remember there being something in the description stating the suit was designed to be cloaked unlike other suits. |

I'd like to see the Min Scout get a +5% in Biotic Module efficiency, or +5% in base speed.
And for the Knife Proficiency to get a buff to +5% for all the Nova Knifers out there.

One of th eguys in corp had an idea about scouts having built in scanner to their suit which acts on their suits scan range a bit like the ones on vehicles so as the scout is tearing around the field its picking up and spotting enemies.
Also i'd liek to see a covert ops drop uplink. theory being that a proto gallente scout with profile damp 5 and a couple complex damps goes out his way to flank the enemy and get in a good position behind them. soon as a drop uplink is put down it lights up liek a christmas tree to any scanner.
now if there was a covert ops uplink with a very low scan profie to match the cout suits with just 5 spawn on it, carry 1, 1 active you could get into a tactical position dropthe uplink and get your squad in behind enemy lines and make your move |

Scouts do need something of their own though. Not too sure what. Our tank is a combination of speed & stealth. Stealth is starting to get there but the speed could use a buff. I feel like anything that has to do with weapons should be available to everybody. Like a scout suit with an HMG? yeeeaaa..............no, not what I meant
