Atiim Living Like Larry Schwag 431	Posted - 2013.10.28 23:44:00 - [1] - Quote Ok I put Tank 514 in the title to get more people to read this thread, but their is a serious issue that needs to be addressed here, and that is the Battle "Academy" With graduations after 1200 WP, which I could get in one battle without even trying, new players will be trusted into battle with all of the good people and will get roflstomped by even people running basic gear. I say we start roflstomping and kill as much starter fits as much as possible until CCP decides to dress this If the Battle "Academy" is not fixed, then new players will either AFK, or just quit all together, which will cause many people to have bad reviews for this game. We must take whatever actions necessary to increase the player base, even if CCP won't! Better sooner that later (400 WP Academy Grad here). People are gonna pubstomp no matter what, there is no need to unite behind a banner of false pretenses to do it. On the flip side, saying you are going to pubstomp to entice CCP to raise the required amount of WP for Academy Graduation to somehow increase the player base, just to continue pubstomping regardless of what effects it may or may not have on the player base is silly. If you want to run your Proto gear in Ambush that's fine. You earned it, run it if you want. You don't need to pretend you do it for a noble cause. That's just corny.

Just came out of the Academy with 2500 war points in one match.After that I built a logi suit and bought a repair tool and a nanite injector. I squaded up with some people and every match finished top 5 with at least 1k war points using militia everything aside from the suit. The problem lies with the player, the learning curve is smaller than what it seems it is because blueberries come into dust thinking it is another twitch shooter and try to run around. Dust 514 is a cover based game, even you have 800 shield while you run around, a good blueberry (which doesn't mean proto everything) can still kill you. Play tactical.

Don't see what the suit's got to do with it, it's the core skills and upgraded mods that make the difference. mix the core skills and other skills such as proficiency with any gun and a free suit and your a perfect match for anyone so about your so called upgraded mods you don't need them not 1 bit so what I'm saying is all you got to do is get your proficiency maxed with the gun you like get your core skills like the ones that give more shields and armor and grab a free suit and thats all you need to be up to par with most of the dust players because at this point thats all you need for this game well that and the ability to aim
