Ok I put Tank 514 in the title to get more people to read this thread, but their is a serious issue that needs to be addressed here, and that is the Battle "Academy"
With graduations after 1200 WP, which I could get in one battle without even trying, new players will be trusted into battle with all of the good people and will get roflstomped by even people running basic gear.
I say we start roflstomping and kill as much starter fits as much as possible until CCP decides to dress this
If the Battle "Academy" is not fixed, then new players will either AFK, or just quit all together, which will cause many people to have bad reviews for this game.
We must take whatever actions necessary to increase the player base, even if CCP won't!

You didn't even know what a hardener was when I squared with you. You have no concept of anything that involves tanks or vehicles. You should never even speak of vehicles or recommend anything to do with them. Voids video will show this and you should feel bad. |

It doesn't matter if you come out of the Battle Academy at 1200 WP or 100,000 WP. You are gonna take your lumps. Better sooner that later (400 WP Academy Grad here).
People are gonna pubstomp no matter what, there is no need to unite behind a banner of false pretenses to do it.
On the flip side, saying you are going to pubstomp to entice CCP to raise the required amount of WP for Academy Graduation to somehow increase the player base, just to continue pubstomping regardless of what effects it may or may not have on the player base is silly.
If you want to run your Proto gear in Ambush that's fine. You earned it, run it if you want. You don't need to pretend you do it for a noble cause. That's just corny. |

Academy doesn't need fixing, it needs a complete rework. it should be a tutorial like a school kinda, teaching movement, suits and fittings and stuff, vehicles, etc., and also all the other things you can do SOONtm, then should be set off on there way with whatever they want to, or could go play PVE if they are not sure that they're ready for PVP and doesn't want to those other things.

also it's closer to 5 battles if you're new. if you don't believe me set up a new toon go to academy get in a couple of matches but don't kill anybody. shoot them till they back off your gun game should be good enough that this isn't a problem. then look at the average wp.

My Idea (will place in OP)
A "Soft" Cap of 100,000 WP, allowing you to do normal matches. This will act as a saftey net for those who still believe that they need more time in the battle academy.
Followed by a "graduation" from the academy at 200,000 WP. If you don't have an ADV fit (at least) by 200k WP then there is just no saving you sorry.
However, I could easily see this taken advantage of by battle academy trollers.

I believe the problem is the lack of players the BA is a good idea in theory but if they're kept too long it separates a chunk of the players from the matches, which presents a whole new set of problems.
But personally I think it should be for about 10000 wp, hell even 5k sp.
Also change yo title man it's misleading.

I put Tank 514 there because I knew that if people saw Tank 514, they'd give it a look or too (and usually threads on this issue don't get that much attention, dispite being a problem that needs to be addressed) , along with baiting out people who decide to post without reading the OP, as those people are prevalent in my threads.
