I can't play during the day, and my 2 yr old son can't keep his hands of the controller no matter where I hide it sooooo.........
I gave him a alt an let him pop shots few times a day in the mcc , keeps him happy lol he s already gotten some kills with a md lol I messaged the 4 guys he killed that it was my 2 yr old son.

Dude this game is rated 16. Why do you let your 2 year old child play the game? Or are you like a underaged dad with a age of 17? I cant remember that a responsable adult would let his child play such a game. |

Part of me wants to say ok, cool for your kid cause video games are good for motor control. The other half wants to smack you for being part of the demographic of idiots who probably buy their underage kids GTA 5 and other violent games. Which in turn gives the rest of us gamers bad names when your ****** parenting is uncovered after the kid goes on a shooting rampage(for reasons unrelated to video games, but related to crappy parenting) |

It is much better to talk to your kids about things than it is to hide them from them.
Having said that, at 2 his kid doesn't see it in any of the ways that we would.

Yea because there is just so much blood, gore, and profanity in dust right?
You do know there is a child filter right? This makes it so that the child cannot use voice or text chat.
Also this game is rated T so this game is RECOMMENDED for anyone 13 and up. |

Lol he shoots the mcc, like I said I can't hide the controller he can literally scale the fridge!
The only time he ever got anyone was when I took a trip to the Lou , came back an he's got the mic on babbling to teammates an smashed a squad single handily with my breach set up, so I did what any proud dad would do in that situation.......

Get your panties out of a knot, violent games do not cause violent children, and while I have to doubt OPs claim of his son killing people (certainly not without assistance) it really can't be compared to a game like gta5, I don't see your clone carjacking pedestrians and killing hookers.
It's a stock standard shooter, I grew up on games like turok, Wolfenstein, Duke Nuke'em, etc. as low res as they were they were far more graphic. Get over it. |

2. I gave him a armored / shield tanked assault with a md a Fay an put him in a nano hive set the aim an he just fired away since his hands are to small to move L3/R3 at the same time ( only once he did this)
3. Any other time was just dumping clips at base by the depot or mcc.

compromise:
give him an LAV or dropship without pilot gun, and tell him its a driving survival game. It's a win-win!
They get to have crazy high-res fun, and you get to farm ISK. once they learn how to actually survive. heh.
One of my kids really prefers flying over shooting battle. I think that says great things about him :)

Yes, actually , they do.
That is to say, realisticly violent games.
Not the only cause of violence in people, but they certainly increase it, no doubt about it. its pretty much an accepted psycological fact, just like watching violent movies increases violent behaviour in children.
(and adults to a lesser degree as well)
