After playing with it for a while and even getting proficiency to lvl 4 ive come to the conclusion that the explosion is to small to reliably kill people unless your above them and their standing still. IMO the radius for std/adv/pro should be 1.5/1.75/2.0 After the damage nerf it would be fine to have a acctual explosion for the flaylock |

Just got a proto flaylock few days ago and the splash damage i a have been getting is a bit disappoint. I would say it needs a small buff, maybe .25 or .5 Radius increase. |

The flaylock is good to what it is now. Just shoot closer to their feet.
They wont be rebuffing a weapon after nerfing it and making it a proper sidearm weapon. |

I think the FLP is good as it is. It's a sidearm. It's effective when you get people's shields down.
I've had good results with the Core FLP in the past, when I need it in a pinch. |

I didn't use it too much pre nerf, but I do now.
Imo it didn't need a radius and dmg nerf. They should buff one or the other.
.25 would be good. |

I've had good results with the Core FLP in the past, when I need it in a pinch. But why would i use a flaylock when i could get MUCH better results from a scrambler pistol or a smg? It has worse dps, is harder to hit with, and has a small mag. |

The only reason i use the flaylock is because of the low PG requirement, in my opinion it is no where near par with the scram pistol, to the point where i would pick a Adv scram pistol over my proto flaylock |

Explosions are calculated in feet/diameter, not meters/radius like it says on the tip. Grenades are the only real exception I believe. |

If the whole point of the flaylock is to be a explosive weapon shouldnt it accually have a explosion to it? If were going for direct impacts the scrambler pistol is better |

It already got nerfed for being too much. Give me a better splash radius and damage for my large missile turret before adding any to a tiny pistol. I shouldn't have to aim right at someone to do any damage with huge freakin' volley of huge missiles. |

Whats the point if your not using it for its splash damage? the point is, it is a sidearm with very low fitting requirements that you switch into when you are out of ammo, then you hit with it when the shields are down and your target dies due to lolexplo damage vs armor |

I used it on certain maps because my job was to hold a point, usually one with allot walls and **** around me. Hence the Core FLP was good in pinch in certain situations.
My favorite sidearm is the SMG hands down. |

I've been using the advanced one with op lvl 4 for a week now and it's good as it is now. It has the ability to do great burst damage to armor, can damage vehicles and installations and is able to kill multiple mercs with a single shot (I've only gotten a few double kills so far). It also has a low fitting cost. If you need to use some skill to hit with it, I'd say it's pretty balanced. Try running a plasma cannon and then switch to flaylocks and you'll have no problem hitting your target often enough, even with the non-proto variants. |

Aside from the ease of fitting it, what's the point of the FLP if there's no explosive radius? Why not use an SMG instead? You keep the bonus to armour, and hell, you can use the SMG as a primary... I know I do.

Its a side arm weapon, use it as a side arm. Its not meant to kill people all by itself. Sidearms are 'back up' weapons, used if you run out of ammo or for different situations. Sick of people complaining that things are UP in this game when you're trying to use it for what its not intended for. Try using your primary weapon to weaken your opponent then pull out your Flaylock to finish the kill. I guarantee it will work just as its meant to.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I won't stand here and tell you you're wrong. I'll stand here and tell you that you're stupid and aren't using your weapons correctly. That sir, is a fact.
PS; In all honesty continue running around with your Flaylock, or your scrambler pistols, or your sub machine guns as primary weapons. More kills for us more intelligent people. I'll take your QQ'ing on the forums for more kills on the battlefield any day. |

Nobody is forcing you to use the Flaylock over the SMG or Scram Pistol. Use those if you want. I know when I'm running AR for CQC and I turn the corner into 3+ reds thank goodness I have a flaylock equipped for that situation. |

Generally speaking, a direct hit + one shot just off gives enough splash damage to kill most fits, aside from heavies that is. I would just improve your aim as I doubt they'll buff something that was nerfed.
Oh, and the Core Flaylock is still pretty ridiculous if you can aim with it. |

I still think the blast radius is to small. The std one is worthless and not even worth using, adv is slightly better but still pretty useless, proto is semi usable. A slightly bigger blast wouldent make it OP, it was OP because of the damage. |
