I got me mad me trying to score direct hits and everybody useing Core FL as Massdrivers XD
After the nerf i can peacefully use it and its a great side arm to complement my Amarrian Weaponry... |

Because Scrambler pistol does less per shot, isn't explosive either. If they Flaylock was designed to be more splash than direct, then it's stats would suggest so. |

players were going way over 50 kills with that gun..
that flaylock change was a miracle as far as im concerned.. |

I have to disagree with the OP. I have been around long enough to see the Flaylock start off as an overpowering weapon, then get overly nerfed into a useless weapon, and then finally get perfectly balanced to where it is now.
Very few sidearms can potentially be primary weapons. The Flaylock is not one of them. The Nova Knives and the SMG have that potential to be treated like primary weapons in the hands of a real professional, but not a Flaylock. The primary purpose of the Flaylock is to finish off the opponent in 2-3 shots when their shields and armor are still weak. |

The Flaylock is a side-arm, so use it like one. Aim it at the feet. It's EXPLOSIVE! It's overall a nice sidearm. I have lvl 5, and it's beast after their shield is gone. |

So I put it like this. Smg can kill anything with one magazine and spry and pry scrambler pistol takes accuracy to use but can be affective to kill some one with one magazine. So if ur telling me a side arm is for defensive purposes only why is the smg and scrambler pistol mor effective then any flaylock pistol is? I agree that the flaylock needed the nurf but the smg and scrambler pistol still rain supreme over all side arms why dose the flaylock need to the coolest weapon out ther but the least effective. I use it still for a defensive weapon but that's it. I want one more round in a magazine and then it will be good imo. |

One shot of any weapon with headshot bonus makes short of Enemies.
Scrambler rifles
Scrambler Pistols
TAC AR
BRST AR
Etc...
Point being ; Burst is the worst of SCRAM pistols , there by, find it funny you call a gun that can 2 shot a shield-less heavy or Gal Logi: ''bad weapon''... AKA Flaylock Pistol.... Just because you cant score direct hits with it.... |

Only the scrambler pistol gets a massive headshot bonus. And the burst version is the best IMO because one trigger pull does more damage than any other pistol. About 150 per burst with no proficiency, and 675 damage to the head |

Sorry, I used my Proto Core Flaylocks with Proficiency 3 to murder a couple of forum QQers in STD suits with GEKs when Hit Detection for any weapon that didn't rely on splash damage was broken.

Usually ''Pop'' or ''Pop pop''.
It never takes 3 shots.
SR 120% vs Shields high PG usage
FP 120% Vs Armor no PG usage
Usually is (on 1 v1 )
GÖªScrambler rifle Charged Shot
GÖª Swap weapon
GÖª 1-2 Flaylock to the leggyweggs (i aim for the knees,in case i miss the direct hit splash damage still kicks in)
This is my day to day engaging technique.
But point made, The Flaylock pistol does have a little too much of a learning curve ATM for some players...
And both Scrambler P and SMG's are great weapons too... |
