hello folks im Chances Ghost and im a remote-aholic, you may remember me from that time you went flying across the map.

As an explosives expert i tend to get ALOT of hatemail/fanmail/GGs and it sees that there are some people out there that seem to think that remote explosives require no skill, are OP, and that im some sort of hellspawn of a troll who laughs as the bodys fly.

well part of that is right at least.


most people are used to the standard tricks of placing remotes on objectives, and tossing one as you die for the revenge kill. those are pretty standard and used quite oftin, by dedicated explsives experts and well everyone.

its not that imaginative and most deaths caused by them are easily prevented, you cant really get mad at that... you shoulda looked before you leaped, and against anyone whos smart and watches the killfeed it just plain wont work.


most people who use them that way use them like a sidearm, or like the equipment they are, a neat little trick to get an extra kill or two and give you a shot at defending an objective from far away.


unlike them however, they are my PRIMARY weapon. more then 70% of my kills are from remotes, and every day im coming up with new and interesting ways to sue them, from dropping them on people from above, to finding ways to trow them like frisbees, to (briefly) attaching them to teamates faces and letting them walk around as my own personal mobile explosive.

to drive this point home my weapon is an SMG wich is just weak enough to be underestimated and usually causes people to chase me like im an easy kill.



i use my remotes to hold CQC objectives from overwhelming numbers and once i get entrenched its extremly hard to remove me if i have some meat shields running around as distractions.



those that have faught me, please tell me. are REs OP?

do they truly require no skill?

I'm tempted to replace my injector with a remote explosive...

Except that then I would be an even worse support player :/

Also by the way...do you use X-3 nanohives with your REs? Cause if you don't, I would highly recommned that you do, that is, if you can fit them.

As soon as people give up their protosuits with 800+ ehp and their Duvolle Assault Rifle that can eat through anything in under a second THEN I would be willing to negotiate about Remote Explosives being over powered. Until then they can go jump off a bridge because it is one of the only weapons that is guaranteed to kill them.

REs are where they need to be. People just ***** if they die to anything other then gun. Its ******* stupid, but there you have it.

That's jokes, I had to keep going to the supply depot, u using a logi or assault? I ve seen u in a scout but also mko?

Then fully kill them, nade the corpse, if ur bleeding you can detonate

im usually MKO

and yah it was on the old gallante, with the objective inside that building next to the supply depot so ide spam inside my room then hop out for 4 more hives then camp till death and repeat.

How fast can the MK.0 go an how many shields? I was thinking about trying this suit
