Well it makes sense in the lore that blasters are short range high damage, does bring up the question why is the AScR which is basically an Amarrian copy of the AR better than the AR. And why the TAR which is a copy of the ScR better than the ScR. |

Laser= long range less damage, ar is a blaster soo close range high damage but right now its way wrong it out ranges the lasers with higher damage |

The AR is really not that far off-balanced at all. The range and ROF is fine as is. If anything a slightly smaller clip and it would be the only thing it needs so it isnt spammed. Personally, I would rather bring other weapons up to its level than a nerf.
And the TAC is not better than the ScR. I have played with both and the mechanics controlling the ROF for the TAC are completely gimped. |

close range is where the weapon excels and medium range is where we do decent damage not my fault everyone and their mom speced into AR's with proficiency 5

The only thing that needs to change on the AR is the amount of kick. Remove the kick reduction bonus and you'll see people (including me) have to get closer or be more mindful of using auto fire.

idk about that people kill me pretty fast with AScR and it should be less impressive because gallente make a better automatic weapon |

People won't be happy until the AR is nerfed to being practically useless. The fact that a weapon made over 20,000 years into the future only tickles people at over 100 meters is fcking absurd when the 17th century Flintlock Rifle can kill a man reliably up to ~300 meters. |

The ScR does quite fine against ARs. I run the ScR exclusively now and have zero issues against ARs unless its a proto suit with a Douvolle and then that is understandable. If you can aim and have awareness enough to monitor your heat build up then the ScR is a frightening weapon.
I actually think that the weapon balance right now is probably the best Ive seen it. |

Hi C. In another game a rifle called a Tamsen did the most damage per bullet. And what did everyone want to salvage? Tamsens......lol.
The AR needs less damage per bullet. Even with a theoretical smaller clip its still Duvolle or Balac GAR-21 Uber Alles for getting kills. |

Issue with lasers is they're doing far too much damage vs armour. they should melt through shields and do least half of what they should on armour. Explosive stuff is the armour killer (SMG, Nades, MD) whereas sniper rifles and the assault rifles should be balanced between shields and armour since they are 'hybrid' class weapons, gallente use short range high damage (anti matter ammo) which is shotguns and the AR's i'm guessing are running standard ammo types, balanced range and damage. What i would like to see is the Breach AR fixed, doing the calculations it gets out DPS'd by a militia SMG The range of AR isn't too bad. i have max skills for mine and it does pretty average damage over 40m which i'd have to say is pretty acceptable with lasers i'm guessing the standard laser rifle is whats classed as the beam lasers in eve (long range good damage) and the scrambler rifle is pulse lasers. shorter range good damage. so assault scrams should have a similar range to AR's but be more effective over shields.
If they're changing range of AR they should at least up damage slightly or maybe even rof so as to not get too overpowered by proficiency and damage mods. But i'd liek to see ammo types come into the weapons so we can change range/damage of the rifles ourselves. would offer a lot more tactical play to the field |

The ar might be being changed because the combat and rail rifle will be introduced soon and each including the scrambler and laser will fill a different role. |

If so gtfo if you mean 140 -60 then still no cuz when you hit armour you screwed and explosives do 80 shield 120 armour...ar does 110 shield 90 armour unless they changed it |
