Laser= long range less damage, ar is a blaster soo close range high damage but right now its way wrong it out ranges the lasers with higher damage |

Gallente Assault Rifle: Best close range Amarr Scrambler Rifle: Best mid range Caldari Rail Rifle: Best long range Minmatar Combat Rifle: Average at all Yep but no one wants their ar "nerfed" even though its not working as intended...and for you scrubs I've been here since before you could buy your way into closed beta so don't act as if idk what's up we knew then ar would be shorter range but right now ar is better than ascr at close and medium range don't try and tell me otherwise I have both at pro 5 and use both but stick with AR it kills faster |

I run the ScR exclusively now and have zero issues against ARs unless its a proto suit with a Douvolle and then that is understandable. If you can aim and have awareness enough to monitor your heat build up then the ScR is a frightening weapon. I actually think that the weapon balance right now is probably the best Ive seen it. Range is what's wrong....same with duvolle and carthum...duvolle should not outrange the carthum and they shouldn't be the same |

But i'd liek to see ammo types come into the weapons so we can change range/damage of the rifles ourselves. would offer a lot more tactical play to the field Lasers do 120 shield and 80 armour by what your saying it should do 120 shield and 60 armour? If so gtfo if you mean 140 -60 then still no cuz when you hit armour you screwed and explosives do 80 shield 120 armour...ar does 110 shield 90 armour unless they changed it |

They should be the base middle of the road weapon that you build balance around for the rest of the gun's... Keep the base gun's static and then build balance around them... the more you change the base line the more we have to start all over again.
Ranges currently are a joke... a 13 year old with a pistol TODAY can fire more accurately and further then a duvolle assault rifle can.. More effective damage ranges, and hitboxes that register a shot in the foot differently from a shot in the heart would add much more balance...
this is even representative in the Flaylock's where direct impact shot's to their head, deal less damage then shooting the ground under their feet.
This is a game. In real life we don't have clones, or spaceships, or magic resurrection needles either. We also worry to much about making the next best killing bomb instead of trying to find a cure for cancer or something actually important |
