I like grenade launchers, but don't see the appeal of the Plasma Cannon. If you're going for OHKOs isn't it easier to use a Forge Gun?

That seems to be its drawback...
Its most UP weapon in the game... But it's also the most fun.

Heh, try to take out a "bit" of a heavy's health with splash and they will quickly educate you on how a HMG can still **** an overconfident merc...

it also contains alot of bugs. you arent getting the most out of this gun if you havent experienced them yet.


well the trick is not running out in the open into a HMG, cook a nade around a corner, hit them in the face with PLC and weapon switch in cover to SMG to finish them off.

and BTW brick tank proto fittings and can survive the direct hit.

I stood still in awww one day as I watched this big bright light coming at me from across the map as I thought " that isn't a plasma cannon is it......? ......what is that dumb bastard trying to do?".
I just stood their mesmerized by the light, an curiosity ...... I froze!

THEN KLABLOOOOIE!

I think the sheer aw of it was the only reason it killed me, the slow motion put me in a trance that made me actually stand still wondering if it would actually kill me since I had about 5 seconds to think about it as I stood still , an I think that's it's hidden power.
It freezes it's victims in a light ball trance and immobilizes them LMFAO BEST DEATH I EVER HAD.

Saw a guy fire it at me over a great distance one time, it all happened in slow motion, i could have sidestepped it but i thought my suit would protect me from the blast or hell he would miss....then i actually took the round in the face.....i mean ARc shot, long distance at least from outside Imperial Scrambler reach....straight to the face.

Aaand down i went.

Had to pick myself up from the floor laughing.

Then i murdered the sonofabitch like no tommorow :p

It is only that strong with a direct hit? Or is the splash damage decent too? I'm gonna start playing with plasma cannons later tonight when I can get on, kinda interested in them.

Not alone, but I've seen a squad of 6 plc users decimate a proto fitted falchion... I got the last shot :D

That was such a great day! We REALLY need to do that again sometime.

That we do, I've been on with a few members recently (mostly with Eversor :) ) which have been fun matches but I've not been able to be in a 6 man squad in ages, would love that opportunity again lol.

Am I mistaken, or is there no militia version of the plasma cannon? I've been curious to try them out, but I don't want to waste SP on something that I may never use again.
