That doesn't change the fact that the match times were listed in UTC and EDT, neither of these are EST

Our best game by far was against The Rainbow Effect who without a doubt deserved 2nd place. Could of been a truly great final.

All teams that are eligible for prizes need to get a list containing the type of officer weapon each player on their roster wants like this:
Player 1: Weapon 1 Player 2: Weapon 2
etc
Email this list to [email protected] and i will forward them to Logibro
You can only choose from the following list of weapons: oBalac's GAR-21 Assault Rifle oKrin's SIN-11 Assault Rifle oCala's MIK-33 Submachine Gun oBalac's MRN-30 Submachine Gun oGastun's BRN-50 Forge Gun oThale's TAR-07 Sniper Rifle oBalac's N-17 Sniper Rifle oWolfman's PCP-30 Scrambler Pistol oGastun's MIN-7 HMG

Would those people in charge be the ones that mistook the time that was detailed on schedules that were available on both consoles.net and the dust forums?
I understand that you are angry that your team missed out on a match, but this was due to an error from your team
In the future I will only post times in terms of UTC (eve time) as to avoid confusion

It isn't CCP or ESL's fault you are too lazy to convert from UTC to whatever timezone that you want to use. |

EDT does not change, nor does UTC
If you wanted to check what time your matches were, you could have compared your local time to the in-game clock (UTC)
You (or someone in your team) assumed that even though I made no post about changing times, that Sunday's matches would be different to Saturday's in terms of start time.
The other 3 teams all showed up on time and played their matches, did that not make the same incorrect assumption

No disrespect to UPS at all but for me (like I said in our chat) the best final would have been 3 rounds vs The Rainow Effect without nades and noobtubes (sorry massdrivers... ).
That game was the most fun for me.

But it does change: 7 EDT=6EST. for the US late Saturday night we changed our clocks from EDT to EST (for the east coast). EDT was no longer a valid conversion for Sunday's matches. In effect, the start times were different in the measured value of time on Sunday in relation to Saturday. The fact there was room for assumption was your mistake. So do as you said. Just use UTC. |

Hmm is it really that hard to count back 1 hour ?, we had our timezone also shifted back by 1 hour (EU), you know what we did? we logged on 3 hours before any match would occur to be online and ready, going over preps and running a few matches.
Besides Its not rocket science if the other 3 teams could do it, do people really need to hold your hand that much to be ontime for an event?, i mean log on to check yourselves, don't asume everything is laid out waiting for you to get on.

EDT = EST+1
Expanding on that: EST = EDT-1
This does not change, ever. The only things that changes are you setting your clocks from EDT to EST, that does not automatically change my clocks at home or the times on posts I make

You still arguing about this? Your team leader should have been the one to set you guys up. Were you going to just show up 5 mins to the battle and not even give yourselves time to prep? Bad management tbh.
What is the saying? "No use crying over spilled milk"? You made a mistake (as a team) and you paid for it. As Rei said, why should they need to hold your hand? You're upset at getting disqualified and you are using time as an excuse. You no showed by accident. Deal with it.
