I'm wonderingGǪ who are the leet corps, if any, that are pretty honest and on the level with the way they play this game?
I.e. Don't rely on exploits, cheats and spams and don't cop offensive attitudes or behavior.
I've heard positive things about SVER. Is this true?
I'd like to know because I'd prefer to play with these groups; maybe even join if they have starter corps. I'm not quite up to the requirements for any of the main corps. |

As much as certain corps may use exploits / cheats what ever you might call them, some of those corps are still really good.
Corps that honestly stand out as good are
- Teamplayers - Ahrendee Mercs. - Ancient Exiles - Outer Heaven - Nyain San
I'm sure there are more I will have a think about previous battles I have had.
I cant say the same for STB though they do have some great players.
There's also those Grupo De Asalto guys, though they can be great sometimes, other times they dont impress. |

I lol'd because it's true.
Found them in an ambush yesterday, they had a Falchion and a Vayu on the field at the same time and one of them was using a Balac. Sure they are good, but they incarnate my idea of "spam".
(we lost 0-60 and I was on top of the scoreboard with a 4-2 and 225 WP. Horrible)

Yeah, you will usually find them in Ambush, not to often are they in Skirmish or Domination.

My corp is pretty leet, all the members generally have over 20 kills every match and under 4 deaths on an average day.

nyain san...i really dont think they're that great. they pubstomp through ambushes against total noobs with proto gear and think they're good; while the best players run advanced and still manage to own them. i miss PFBHz....awesome group of guys. the best part about it was that we were all good enough to stomp in pubs without proto gear. our recruitment policy was "no tryhards". Zatara was the only person who exclusively ran proto, as i remember. I dont think i ever saw slap pull a sagaris in a pub and hotch only pulled them to see what i could do with one when i was an applicant. damn...I miss PFBHz. Dust will never see such an awesome corp, again. We were bad-asses, for sure, but it never stopped us from being pink or fluffy. These new top corps are just a bunch of tryhards; ironically, most of their better players were the old bunny B-team. sigh....i dont even see 90% of the guys i used to squad with anymore.
yup...PC really shows you what somebody cares about. For example, all I have ever cared for and ever will care for is getting free money so i can spam tanks in pubs. Then you had guys like Xero who wanted to be called 'the best'. Then there were the guys like Bob who were just along for the ride and some friends...then there were the small number of bunnies who were the real bunnies- not sure if any of them still play anymore. In The Pink...yup.
Oh, how i reminisce of the good old days of saying "UVT" and "CB"....now it's just "corp chat" and "PC". PC is a chore; CB's were just fun as hell.
Old PRO 'alpha' was another awesome time.
Now, i just do PC for the money and spend most of my time teaching newberries and squading with my Brony friends...I like ponies! |

Yeah, I'm very familiar with Nyain San. I figured they'd get called out.
I immediately know when I'm up against Nyain San without even looking at the roster when the grenades start flying and the droplinks light up the map like a Christmas tree.

Quoted for truth.
Dust lost many great players .
P.S. Official PFBHz Anthem
One of my favorite memories is when I thought I had a good game. At the end I had 20+ kills only to see James with 40+ and the other 2 guys with 20+ also. Damn good times. |

Any and all 'leet' corps would almost certainly get smashed by the elite corps of the closed beta because an overwhelming majority of the really great players left for other games. Hell, -I- don't even stop in for my daily bonus anymore.
Any of the 'leet' corps of today are considered as such in large part because they contain and are held aloft by the shattered fragments of what once was through the few diehard individuals that actually stayed with the game.

However I only started right at the end of closed beta / start of open beta so I'm only speaking on corps I have played against personally. |

You got to fight fire with fire.
Went up against Nyain San in an Ambush match a while back, and our squad spammed tanks.
We won.

Played with Nyan San quite a bit, and they're honestly one of those corps that are so well organized and tactically proficient that they just leave you in awe. I don't remember many tanks being dropped, but there was never any shortage of nanohives or drop uplinks, and the whole crew spread out in a wide arc that made it impossible for the opposing team to find cover. If they feel like spam, it's only becasue they're so good at fanning out and supporting each other logistically. They're one of those corps, like What the French, who aren't really all that good individually but really thrive on teamwork and the their overall gel. |

I noticed that too. I'd imagine they have team leaders that are RL military. At least at the source if not presently being led by those individuals. |

Nyain San is a good Ambush proto pub stomping Corp against militia noobs. Other than that, they personify pathetic. They just use their proto gear and the lag from being in Mexico as their crutch. When I'm against them, my proto gear comes out, because I don't like them on a personal level. (and for the love of New Eden don't turn this into a race thing... again)p |

This coming from a corp that once called in 4+ Gunnlogis in an ambush against a team with no tanks whatsoever...
In my personal experiences against Nyain San they rarely use vehicles and always bring excellent infantry gun game. I like going up against them. |

We have a few members from mexico, they also speak japanese. As for spam, when you spawn, and run away from us into corners all bunched up, expect cores to come-a-flyin. And its funny really, Our squads play on asia servers mostly, and most of the players we fight against there have & use strictly proto.
Just face it, with the respec and our total SP and isk, to run proto strictly is norm of dust for any of the real players.
Back in chromosone very few people had proto, and with sharpshooter and weaponry, having a good proto fit in chromosone meant you were untouchable. You can say imps were beast but the fact is if they still played thered be only a slight difference between them and other really good corps that have really good squads assembled.
