Its an odd goal and I understand what they mean 100% its just funny that a games goal is to get people past day 1. I mean, that's not very difficult for most decent games that come out. But then again most decent games that come out suffer severe player drop offs after a few months so I guess this games a bit different cuz that's exactly what it doesn't want. Were looking to keep people in for the long run. But still....... "past day one" lol! |

More WP which means a 6man crew will be able to spam more OB, you can already get 2OB pretty easy so i expcet to see alot more which means whoever spams the most wins most likely

As far as Prototype gear and 6 people Squads exist, that is never going to happen. CCP is trying to find a cure for a terminal disease, instead of just getting ready of it. |

I am curious what True Grit have cooked up for FW - keeping in mind that they are the EVE-DUST integration crew. My intuition is that we're getting more than the typical FW tweak, and that it's connected to the economy somehow.
Wild speculations aside, i'm thinking the squad finder/latency meter is going to add a lot to the game, and the new WP formula will make actions/rewards on the battlefield a little more rational(barring farming exploits, ofc).
The NPE is beyond any doubt important for the game - hoping CCP got this right in choosing their objective-based format. Gonna be using the squad finder to advertise noob-friendly squads to gauge player reactions to this.
Other than that the biggest thing for me is finding out what 'rendering fixes' means, exactly.
And if the optimisations/improvements to networking and server-client communication do their job things should get a little bit smoother.
All of these directly address the NPE, and i'm happy to see CCP focusing their efforts on that for 1.5. |

I'm looking forward to the WP changes. Adding WP for counter hacking and equipment destruction are good ideas. In my opinion the battlefield is often far too cluttered with this stuff. I wonder if the WP necessary to get an OB will change? Every sniper is going to love the extra points for headshots, it will be a good challenge.
The squad finder looks like it might be useful. The squad finder might help with proto stomping down the road by letting the AI separate proto squads from newb squads (but we will see).
I'm not super excited about corp roles but the administration in my corp might be. Some of this stuff will help with work load in smaller corps. Some of this stuff might be setting up in-squad trading.
Any bug and rendering fixes will be welcome.
I'm also curious to see if there are any "stealth" additions they haven't mentioned. Maybe a new map or two? One can hope. An approach where they under promise and over deliver would be nice.

Real curious about squad finder. Will it encourage non corp mercs to squad up more. Finding people you work well with may lead to more player retention.
Also might result in more balanced matches as Poonmunch(love the name) mentioned. A squad of non proto stands a better chance than one proto or non proto merc. |

I think it's definitely going to be nice to have these changes but it doesn't feel like much of an update. I'm most excited about squad finder honestly. Getting full squads of scouts or PLCs will be cool. |

More of an eh, the WP updates may be handy, but really all it does is bring us closer to 1.7... No more ads, no more logi LAV... Not big game changers like tanks, but damn they were fun |

Vehicular balance was delayed for the release of the rest of the Dropsuits.
Reasoning: CCP LogiBro said the Gallente Heavies were looking nice. Something a community guy probably wouldn't have access to unless they were nearing completion. The Pilot suits will greatly effect vehicles and they (CCP) wanted community feedback (to some degree) first. It's been >6 months since "...soon, not SoonGäó" was proclaimed at FanFest. And mostly, because it's about ******* time.

No not really, i think we already have to many things that are exploided already, WP for scans and troop transport is just 2 new stupid things that WILL be exploided. |

TTK is game breaking right now and it has to go. They probably didn't though and I'll still be running cheap fits since anything more isn't worth dying in 0.3 seconds. |

Because both games can change faster than the tutorial can. That is the current stress eve side is they can't seem to re-record Aurora fast enough. |
