Anyone excited about 1.5 update this Tuesday? I've ask all my corp mates and allies that question and have gotten a resounding "Meh.".
Still it will be good to get WPs for scans, DS troop transport, and counterhacking.  |

Meh is probably somewhere toward the extreme high end of my excitement. Just think... after this patch we can look forward to content... the removal of it. |

That should have been done a loooooooooooooong time ago. It's going to be years before this game goes through enough iterations in order to fix the whole War Points issue.
Edit: If there are fewer game glitches then I'll call 1.5 a success. |

Why did CCP release a game without tutorials.... twice?

This won't happen until matchmaking stops matching 500k sp solo mercs against +10mil sp full proto squad mercs.
Think about it, would you keep playing after being proto stomped game after game and not really knowing why they are so effective against you but you aren't effective against them? |

I think I might just possibly log on, on Tuesday that is to test this new patch. I understand CCP may take some time with things I can just about accept that.
I just hope there are some performance improvements, no matter how small or trivial. |

Meh, is the maximum I can feel about it. I was hoping to see something cool before November and my jump on the PS4.
I can only hope, that the patch in the first November week has something exiting.
My plan is to clear the single player in Killzone, and then went to the multiplayer mode in BF4. After this returning to my PS3 in March for Darksouls2. |

Likely lots of ninja nerfs and buffs, with no real meat & potatoes with the known changes.
1.5 isn't really a "bring people back and lets all get excited" kinda of patch. |

First thing I'm doing is making a squad that's called "20mil+ sp ONLY" so I can actually play this game with people who know what the heck they're doing.
That's probably what I'm most excited for.
Oh, and the fact that my average wp gain will go from 2500 to 3000 because of the extra wp bonuses. Especially with how much I use the scanner, hacking, etc. |

I have mixed feelings about this Update, Squads Finder ( Good), Tutorials ( GooD )... everything else... mehh.

1.1 was fixes, 1.2 was fixes, 1.3 was some crap, 1.4 was some maps and big fixes, 1.5 is nothing, 1.6 will be nothing, 1.7 will gut vehicles.
1.8-2.1 will involve vehicle balancing at least, if not longer.
So all in all, there is not much to be hopeful for.
p2p trading, full racial suits, full racial weapons are all so far off as to not even have a release window.
People are not being pessimistic, they are being rational for walking away. Those of us who stay are the crazy ones. |
