In their new update on how their ruining our vehicles somehow even harder than they have done, they continue to claim that shield tanks are made to hit and run, and armor is made to stand and slug it out. In this endevor, both tanks were given a speed boost. However, the shield tank is still significantly slower than the armor tank. So how is the cute little shield tank that could deal with the big bad armor tank?
Well, they dont. If the shield tank pushes head on he cant compete with the superior galante active resist and dies. But if the shield tank rolls up behind the armor tank and shoots at him then runs away, the armor tank chases him down and kills him. So.... how does the shield tank beat it??
Missiles look promising, they are certainly terrorfiing beyond a reasonable doubt, expesically to an armor tank. It can fire 4-6 missiles a second and the proto ones do 500 damage each. Thats insaine! plus a clip of 12 but with 2 hardners and a heavy rep the armor tanks will eat it no promblem. Then the shield tank has to reload and the armor tank will easily close the distance in 10 seconds and kill him.
Blasters? duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh
Rails? Maby once but its an anti tank weapon. If the armor tanker is using cover it will be impossible. And if you do kill the armor tanker than hed come out with a railgun and murder you.
So... what hope will a shield tank have? |

Clip size is 12 for the Large Missile Turrets, all clip sizes are listed in the pictures.
However, if maddies can fit missile turrets then shield tanks are UP, already the shield regen is going to be hilariously bad since a single SMG round will stop you from regening.
However, nothing is finalized yet, and there is a slim hope that they will rebalance AV weaponry accordingly *shrugs*
Unfortunately with the current numbers, HAV vs HAV fights are going to be even quicker then they are now, which makes me sad... |

6474damage a clip with proto missiles not counting damage mods or skills or the 1/3rd bonus against armor, all delivered in 1.8 seconds, making HAV fights even shorter then they are now!

Shields can go from 0 to full in 6 seconds in the new update.
Boosters refibulates the shield regeneration and kicks it into starting\ much earlier.
Shields lose their constant shield per second regen and now behaves like infantry recovering after a set time of taking no infantry damage.
All vehicles move at the same speeds now by class.

A shame =\ An enormous shame. Now that our tanks are becoming weaker infantry will kill our tanks faster too! Did they change the damage bonuses because it was 20% right now? But madrugars have 60% active resist per mod so if they use 2 it would be 70% or 80% damage reduction plus its heavy rep. so 70% of 7k damage is 4900 damage resisted. so the full clip would only do 2100 damage ish |

I think armor tanks get the 40% resists and shield the 60% one. I thinks the 0.4 and 0.6 are damage multipliers when the hardener is activated. Otherwise it makes absolutely no sense and shield tanks will be really up |

Chek again, it writes 0.6 and 0.4 . Those things have to be damage modifiers for stuff that hits them. So say a shield tank takes 1000 damage and its has a 0.4 multiplier on, thats: 0.4+ù1000=400 damage taken by the tank. Therefore, a 60% resist. At least thats how I hope it works... |

gooogle says 0.4 = 40% and 0.6 = 60%

Im not to happy with all the changes especially the shield regen being stopped by a smg round. Also I heard damage mods have been moved to the high slots!!! Is this true??
I haven't had time to really look at where everything has been moved to, but that would mean damage mods and heat sinks would both be a high slot. that's messed up. We will have to wait and see.... again...... we have to wait again....... thanks. |
