But NOWHERE does it say anything about duplicate or various versions of Vet and Elite packs. NOTHING CCP has said indicates that Vet or Merc packs are changing, being released in multiple versions, or having items removed or added, so its utterly pointless to speculate about "IF there is gonna be more than 1. . ."

Further, CCP hasn't stated that Vet packs are changing, so if you want to buy a Vet pack to "not miss out on a covenant sniper rifle. . .", then you're an idiot, because CCP hasn't stated that Covenant rifle BPOs (along with every other BPO in Vet or Elite packs) are being removed, modified, limited or other.

Your calls that "**** will hit the fan" are unfounded. You're yelling fire in a crowded theater when there isn't even smoke. You're wanting to cause hysteria at being "ripped off," when NOTHING AT ALL indicates that you are going to be ripped off.

How hard is it to understand: BPOs are being removed. Vet and Elite pack BPOs will remain. PERIOD.

The in-game notice does nothing to suggest that the Vet and Elite packs specifically are changing, true. However, since they do have three in-game packs called Mercenary Packs, it would behoove them to verify this. Mercenary pack ceasing to exist is a conversation of something that is actually happening. CCP not being explicit with all changes (the BPO off-market post doesn't mention the Merc pack going away) also provides plenty of room for discussion there, as does their prior history with Merc pack changes, the broken stats in the current Elite pack, and this slate of changes being given a one-week timetable with no prior notice. We didn't get to speak about the new Elite pack but he confirmed the new Veteran pack will contain a Covenun Assault C-I dropsuit and a Covenun Sniper Rifle. PERIOD. its just 9n half years experience with how ccp like to mess about with things. also do you not remember the whole issue with the closed beta merc packs when they started giving out the M.A.G tribute suits for free with merc packs a week or so after releasing merc pack ? that didn't go down too well and a lot of folk including me DID get ripped off. with CCP stating that the BPOs will still be available in the elite and veteran merc packs it's not really likely they are going to add them and charge the same and i can't really see them upping the price any more. with the past merc pack being altered from dragonfly scout to dragon fly assault why wouldn't they change the elite and veteran packs after a period of time and change it so you get the current militia and m.a.g tribute suits instead of the covenant and dren gear?

CCP state that although BPOs will be removed from market, they will still be available from the elite and veteran packs. Now what i'm beginning to think is that the current militia suit bpos and mag tribute bpos will simply disappear completely and by saying BPOs will be available in elite and veteran packs is that the only bpos will be the covenant and dren items and the statement is just worded awkwardly Thoughts?
