Where did you read "Merc packs are changing"? The announcement is pretty clear that they are removing BPOs from general sale and keeping them available in Veteran and Elite packs. There was no mention of Merc packs, which means they're likely being removed. |

CCP hasn't said anything about changing the content of any pack. I think you're drawing conclusions based on no evidence and drumming up a conversation of things that have no foundation. Vet and Elite packs are going to remain for sale as they are. Merc packs are being removed. That's it. That's what the information says. |

like i said. a Dev needs to post more details otherwise they will face a huge backlash from the player base if we get ripped off. i was just about to buy an Elite pack to buy an omega booster or two but now i dunno wether to risk it or not but i also face losing out if they do change next week But NOWHERE does it say anything about duplicate or various versions of Vet and Elite packs. NOTHING CCP has said indicates that Vet or Merc packs are changing, being released in multiple versions, or having items removed or added, so its utterly pointless to speculate about "IF there is gonna be more than 1. . ."
Further, CCP hasn't stated that Vet packs are changing, so if you want to buy a Vet pack to "not miss out on a covenant sniper rifle. . .", then you're an idiot, because CCP hasn't stated that Covenant rifle BPOs (along with every other BPO in Vet or Elite packs) are being removed, modified, limited or other.
Your calls that "**** will hit the fan" are unfounded. You're yelling fire in a crowded theater when there isn't even smoke. You're wanting to cause hysteria at being "ripped off," when NOTHING AT ALL indicates that you are going to be ripped off.
How hard is it to understand: BPOs are being removed. Vet and Elite pack BPOs will remain. PERIOD. |
