You pay for an active scanner and a shield extender for less than 7k isk and can do inordinate amounts of damage with it. Had a match last night and went 26-2 using it. It's very difficult to not to be in the top 3 for kills, (usually top unless there's a duvolle user or two on my team) and impossible to go isk negative.

By the way cheers if you were, but that was the first time I have ever used the Balac and was testing it out, so next time I am going to be more aware of my surroundings and dont forget if that was you who did kill me it took three of you, you got lucky I didn't kill you first. I was the Scout who took it from you and everytime you pull another Balac out, I'm going to take it from you. And NO SCOUT can jump over a clone from equal ground, you were near a hillside and I jumped over you from there.

Stop, before you read this my rant toward shotgun users and KB/M users. I expect to be trolled and hated after this, but this is how I feel.



There is nothing wrong with the shotgun. I was using a militia shotgun and was doing very well with it. Second in the right hands this D*** thing is F***** deadly. I have been killed by a scout that can pull of some matrix S*** and then kill me in two shots with a shotgun. I had over 700HP and was dropped in two shots, tells me you want a weapon that can kill in one shot. Not going to happen, because everyone will be using shotguns. To me shotguns are fine the way they are at the moment. Hit detection is off for weapons that are not being assisted by hit assist. I use a sniper rifle and I been cheated out of a lot of kills due to poor hit detection and distance rendering. You are not invincible, stop trying to rush a player with an AR they are going to kill you, instead use stealth and sneak up on them and wipe the floor with them. I have seen and been on the receiving end of some really good scouts who do this. Also heavies put down the shotgun you look ridicules in my opinion


If you cant tell who is using KB/M I will tell you. They can go left to right in a hair turn while firing with such precision it makes you want to break your controller. So to those who use KB/M on a console game and complain about how it does not work properly this is not a PC or MAC its a D*** console. You already have an unfair advantage in my eyes, so please stop complaining because you cant go 50-0 in a match. I know what you are going to say, use a KB/M and HTFU right. Wrong its a D*** console I am going to use a controller. If it was a PC or MAC I would use a KB/M. In my opinion there should not be an option for KB/M in dust due to it being a console game. I am purist who believes in controller, joystick, and simulated gun are the only thing to be used on a console. The move or any other vibrator looking device should not be used ever.
