Also, to be able to lean over rails to shot down and to look around corners without exposing the entire body. Small stuff like that would add a lot of immersion value for me, being able to move the character more like a real person. I think we can all agree that a cover system would not be a good idea, but even Battlefield now incorporates the ability to lean around corners to minimize exposure.

+1 I would absolutely love it if dust implemented depth of field effects in the same level as Killzone 2/3. It would make weapons and objects nearest to the player screen look a little bit more real(well as real as Sci-fi weapons can get anyway)with the added DOF effect. Here's an example of what I'm trying to talk about.

Well, I guess I see where you're coming from on that first one, but depth-of-field isn't exactly the best visual idea for a shooter. It's the same with motion blur, really.
They both look pretty, but they have a negative effect on your ability to spot and prosecute targets, which is after all the point of a shooter.

I do like these ideas. I do however feel that other thing slike WiS and player market and EVE/DUST immersion should be more focused on ...

+1 Great ideas probably been mentioned but I wouldn't mind having a highly trained future soldier who has the coordination to hop a waist high railing.
